I went in knowing zero about Burmese cuisine, but was walked through a series of dishes that have become instant classics that I crave: tofu gyaw, the tea salad, kyarzan thoke, chicken mango, and the goat curry. Everyone of the invitees raved about the quality of the food , the presentation , timeliness , and the competency of the staff . “What a great family restaurant. We were in Elmhurst and not familiar with the area and I saw the High View Family restaurant in Villa Park on Trip Advisor. Loved it. We like the Greek owned American restaurants in my neighborhood. Mini mall parking lot and some handicapped parking. Went in to two large rooms, very clean and welcoming. Sign at front desk had 4 different kinds of soup. Our waitress was Aleka and she was excellent and was very attentive. Need extra napkins, water refill, didn't even have to ask, she was right on it. I had the chicken noodle soup and chicken sandwich and fries and my son had a chicken bacon one that we both liked. Left a tip and paid by the door. Would go again if in the area.“

The butter chicken, garlic naan, and chicken Manchurian were divine! I have not found good chicken Manchurian in a WHILE! Definitely will come back! Just was confused that it was dead quiet when we walked in so we had to request they turn music on, which was a little odd. But the owner let us know that the person who runs the music wasn’t on staff that day which was why it was quiet and he tried to fix it which I appreciated so much.“

You only thought you might need something at the table and it would appear out of no where. The food was all home made and you could tell made from traditional old recipes and a lot of love thrown in. You feel like you are in a small cafe in Italy.
