Shirl's is a staple. I haven't been in quite some time but was really craving some soft serve ice cream. Their main sign wasn't lit, so I almost drove past the place. They do have a drive-thru, but if you are going at night and you don't know what you want, I'd recommend going inside. Always great. Great kids working there are attentive and ready with answers if you have any questions. My polar blast had tons of mint and oreo, very good. The barbie sundae was huge and delicious. Small place but friendly conversations while you are waiting.

Miss the jukebox music there... I think they rush things through the microwave too often the Italian beef is overcooked... It seems allot of shortcuts, used to be thin sliced lettuce and onions, now it's like they buy it chopped up. Makes a difference on a sandwich. Probably cheaper, but they increased the price too.
