I used to eat here when it was upstairs & had a buffet. Liked that because you could go back & get what you liked incase something was subpar, you could always leave happy. Now it has all the markings of a nice dinning experience, but is hit & miss. Like a pingpong ball in a drier, it bounces from subpar to fantastic. Service can be spectacular one night & 3 1/2 hours another. 1 table can be getting great service while your table is forgotten. I frequent Outback & Grandview because...read full review
Very disappointed in the food This has always been a favorite place for us but it is our last time. Our waitress was good but the rest of the staff were not on things and the attitude of the one that delivered our food was terrible.
The king crab legs were so dry I could not eat them The portions have been decreased and were not as good as usual. The dessert menu has shrunk enough that I couldn’t find a dessert I wanted I always get dessert so…. I give it a 2...read full review
Food is subpar. Limited menu for New Year’s Eve, which we expected. The only seafood offered was salmon chefs special and shrimp cocktail. You could not add shrimp, crab, lobster, scallops, etc…. to your steak orders. They offered 6 entrees and 6 desserts. I would have liked seeing more food options. Ordered Caesar salad and it was warm and underdressed at $10 a salad. Steak was cooked well, but lacked flavor. Homestretch was great food and friendly attentive staff. The atmosphere was very happy and the service was outstanding, incredibly friendly and attentive. Ordered prime rib, prima rib, pork chops, porkbelly, bone in ribeye, chicken with mashed potatoes, lobster bisque, French onion soups, shrimp cocktail apps, calamari, tuna, kale and cabbage sides. The prime rib was cooked perfectly and two prime rib had no flavor and no seasoning. The bone in ribeye was a bit tough and overcooked medium, not med rare as requested. The pork chops were awesome and the porkbelly was outstanding. The lobster bisque and French onion soups were delicious. Desserts were very good and huge, and free dessert was. Portions were generous and enough for leftovers the next day. Service was exceptional and mediocre with a broken television screen at the table. Overall the meal was great and above average and will definitely return.
