“Tried this place and I was blown away. This is a secret gem for sure. We had reservations which was good because on a Saturday at 7:30 it was packed. There was, however plenty of parking around the building so no worries there. The menu has something for everyone, steak, sandwiches, salads, pasta, just a wide variety of items to choose from. It took us all some time to pick what we wanted because everything sounded so good. I landed on steak and a baked potato. It was cooked to perfection. Because it was my birthday celebrations, I also was able to pick from a dessert. I picked the carrot cake. While typically I'm not the biggest fan of carrot cake, the server said how amazing it was and she was right. Lastly - They do have a speak easy type area in the basement called the cellar. We were able to have dinner down there (we put the request in ahead of time), but there were many people down there just have cocktails. Really nice vibe down there where you would want to go even if you aren't having dinner.”

“Italian Beef self appointed critic here. Grew up in Chicago land on them and based on the reviews thought I'd try them. The beefs are delicious. More then comparable and I am a big fan. Surprising in this small town!”

“We loved the Sandwich Shoppe! My boyfriend and I stopped in on our day off together and we felt so lucky to come across this restaurant. The sandwiches were incredible, made to order and we enjoyed every bite! We loved chatting with the chef and so appreciated his kindness to us. We will definitely be back! New favorite sandwich spot for sure!!”

“I was having my car worked on across the street and i went in because inwas told they had a kids play area upstairs. Play area doesn't even begin to describe it! The entire upstairs is converted into a kids area! There was so much for my daughter and i to do while waiting. When we got hungry, we went downstairs and ordered a chicken salad croissant and a strawberry lemonade (both of which were delicious) and when i didn't have enough hands to bring it all back upstairs, they offered to take it up for me! Anyone who has kids knows that being out by yourself with them can sometimes be challenging. They made me feel so comfortable and confident having my daughter with me. Super kid friendly and amazing service! Will definitely be visiting again!”

“We came here for dinner and were definitely not disappointed.The wings are the signature dish and have multiple sauces, all of which are house made fresh. we had the bourbon apricot sauce which was incredible. For dishes, my son had the pulled pork quesadilla, which was huge and stuffed with a ton of Pulled pork. My wife and I both had the Shanghai sticky ribs, which were delicious and fell off the bones right away. The coleslaw was a great side dish. I would highly recommend this place for dinner. It's a nice environment and great service. The chef, Greg, was awesome, and the whole staff was friendly.”

“We hosted an event here - The owners were amazing to work with, and the bartender was fantastic! I had no idea this brewery existed before our event, but I will definitely be back! The overall vibe is very laid back and comfortable. I can’t wait to sit on the patio (with my dog) this summer!”

“If you're ever in Tipton Indiana, you must check out this little spot. They are only open to 2 PM and closed on Sundays and Mondays.There is indoor seating. On the warmer days there is also outside seating. Parking can be a challenge. The gentleman that took my order was super friendly. There was a lady who kept interrupting him while he was taking my order. One time, even saying, "what did she say?" It felt awkward....My lavender iced latte was excellent. I had it one other time when I was driving through and stopped in. It's really what I stopped in to get this time. Since it was lunch, I went ahead and ordered the Apple Pecan salad. When I asked what the salad base is. This is another time the lady interrupted and said, "what do you mean?" Such strange interaction with a customer. Salad was GREAT! Food tasted fresh and it was a really nice size salad.I plan to stop in on my next trip and have another salad and lavender iced latte. You should, too!”

“My husband and I just recently moved to Indiana, and we were looking for a new diner to frequent when we have the time. We came across Erika's Place by chance (the Cicero location), and decided to stop in and give it a try.The atmosphere is perfect for what we are looking for. Very cozy, homey, and welcoming. The staff are very attentive and very kind. And the food, my goodness the food is incredible. My husband got the western omelet and I got Joe's Frying Pan, and it is the best breakfast we have had in a very long time. Everything was made accurately, and in general was just incredibly tasty. We will definitely be making a stop at Erika's Place a weekly stop.”

“The salad was very fresh and tasty and the bread sticks were great. Not a fan of the lasagne sauce but the spaghetti florentine was delicious as well as the fettuccini Alfredo. Meatballs were small and dense and had the same sauce as the lasagna. Overall some good and some not so good.”

“Love this quick cafe in Tipton? I had a Spiced Chai and they made an adorable Pup Cup for my puppy pal. I had to include a pic because it was soooo cute☺️? You can tell the drinks are made with care and it shows in taste! The price is amazing too, under $5 for a medium Chai?Service was super friendly, I’ll definitely be back? “Crab Rangoon and chicken fried rice. Little town where we took a driving test and we ordered a little snack. A delicious Chinese restaurant in a small town!! It made me want to go back just to eat dinner. Pleasantly surprised. If I lived here, it would be my “go to” Chinese place and I would be so happy that this Chinese restaurant is here! It’s like a hidden gem I would say! I want to go back and eat dinner and I honestly think I might actually do that in the next 3 months! It’s a 30 minute drive from where I live in Indianapolis, but now I’m curious. The thing is…it’s not a place you would sit down and eat dinner. It’s pretty much carry out dinner and maybe sit down by yourself or maybe one friend and eat lunch. I will come back and get a bunch of things to try because it had so much promise and I was interested in what else they had to offer. Cool restaurant hidden in a small town. Pretty cool!”

“My Young Beautiful Bride and I visited Tipton for an estate sale and afterwards we went to the Green House for lunch.Unknown to us, the restaurant was actually located in an actual Green House.The atmosphere was OK, but nothing to brag about. There seemed to be only 2 employees, and this made everything move very slowly.It took 46 minutes to receive our drinks and another 12 minutes to receive our food.The meals were quite delicious and filling ?, it was just the long wait that we didn't like.I suppose if you weren't in a hurry and wanted to take your time and visit with your family, this would be the perfect place to go.”

Prices are right & the atmosphere is outstanding. We're definitely going back. The breakfast burrito WOW. We're going back for lunch soon. The cook makes some mighty fine food.Kid-friendliness: Our kid is an Italian Greyhound service dog. They loved her. Saw a family with a young baby. The employee's fussed over him. ( Hope I got that right) Tater loved the family as they liked Tater. Especially Tater. Had a great time with our friends Patti & Keith & a mighty fine meal.Thank you to the staff & cooks. Contrary to popular belief, I like that you kinda order yourself and there isn't a huge waitress staff because I'm just here to enjoy good food and good drinks, which is what you get, without being interrupted every five minutes to be asked, "Is everything ok?" Try the beers! The beer wall is GENIUS!! Highly highly recommend. The seating area is small however which makes it a little more personal but nothing negative. Very efficient.”

“We had a large group of 18 and were seated quickly. More of my family showed up than we thought so we ended up needing more seats. This was a hard task but we made it work and Nick our waiter was awesome. Orders were accurate, food hot, and drinks were plenty. Great atmosphere.
