“This taco truck is legit! We had a big group of people, and everyone ordered a couple tacos. All of the food was delicious and fresh, and the staff were super friendly. Food was ready quickly and pricing was very reasonable for the quality.“

“I have had MANY tacos in my day and thought that LA Street tacos were where it’s at but boy was I wrong! These tacos far surpass any joint here in Indy or beyond. They marinate their meats over night - and that’s where the magic resides. Tender, juicy chunks of pollo asado in a taco toasted with cheese (vampiro style) topped with pickled onion and cilantro. Ya they have sauce options but you dont even think about salsas once it’s in your mouth. By the time you notice them your taco is gone! Second fav is the fried mushroom, crispy, bigger than the taco itself and served with delicious sauce on top that binds everything together with the pickled onion for tang.10/10 recommend“

“We had a lovely time this evening with a great bartender and staff. Loved the Down the Rabbit Hole drink and of course the empanadas. But it was the friendliness of the staff that was the highlight. Learned about a couple of drinks and the rim dip stand while talking to the bartender and the manager helped us with a future reservation. Both of them represented the restaurant very well. We are coming back with a group for a special dinner.“

“I went on a date to Tlaolli a few months ago and had a great experience. Came back this week for lunch and tried the vegan birria tacos - wow! I couldn't believe the cheese was vegan. The crunch was exactly right and the sauce was so good. The consistency of the jackfruit was spot on and the whole meal was wonderful.“

“Loved it! Went in for lunch on Saturday at 3pm. Their salsa is great, and has a little kick to it. I had the jalapeño margarita on the rocks and it was such a great experience. Again, had a kick to it. It was a good combination of sweet, sour and spicy. We had chorizo tacos, which were also delicious and came with heaping portion of meat garnished with red onions and cilantro.Clean place, friendly staff.Can't say there was anything I was unsatisfied with.“

“Very satisfied with my visit here. Would definitely consider it a hidden gem that other locals need to hit up. Stopped in on a busy Saturday evening with some friends. We were quickly sat, and greeted promptly by the waitress. The place overall was pretty small, so I would expect it to fill up quickly. On the weekends, they offer quesabirria tacos, which is what I had, along with a side of rice and chips and queso. The tacos were packed full of meat and cheese, and the juice that came with it was flavorful. The queso wasn't the best, but also not the worst- just average. The rice had good flavor. Overall, if I'm in the mood for authentic Mexican food, this is definitely the place I'll be hitting up.“

“As a bit of an aficionado of Eastside taqueria fare, I can't believe I didn't drop a review here sooner. I've been going once a month or so since it opened (should probably go more tbh), and if I had to pick a favorite place for tacos and burritos, I'm pretty sure it's My Taco Stop.It might not be what you'd expect from an old school bus parked at an abandoned Christian bookstore in a neighborhood that's been struggling for 30 years. But this place is an oasis. Everything just tastes so fresh, from the meats and garnishments to the sauces and the elote. The seasoning and spices are perfectly balanced, and every bite is bursting with bright flavors. The portions are exceptional, and the prices are more than fair.The guy who runs the truck is super nice. He speaks English like it's his first language, which is a bit unusual for a place like this, but trust me, his food is the real deal. It's as authentic as it gets. He works hard and provides a much needed option for good, hot food in that neighborhood, and I really admire that.You can order online and pick up, which is what I typically do, and is what I would recommend for anyone apprehensive about waiting around for your food in an area that's mostly ok, but does have some crime. They seem to have better lighting of the parking lot now, which helps. I've never felt unsafe, but having had ties to the neighborhood my whole life, my perspective may be a bit skewed. Regardless, go eat some of the best tacos and burritos you'll ever taste, and support a good guy trying to build a small business in a part of town starving for investment.“

“I lived on the west coast for several years and this is exactly what I've been searching for. Very friendly staff and fresh, delicious, fast service. It seems like a food truck by night and restaurant by day, super smart idea. I'll definitely be back. I also appreciated the added security patrol officer for extra safety precautions. Very kid friendly as well.Parking: This is off of a busy street so you may have to loop back around thru the neighborhoods if you pass it the first time.Kid-friendliness: They host events here for families with music, food, etc!“

“I absolutely love this little grocery.The meat counter is more than you could ask for. My usual pickup here is the fresh ground chorizo & steak.The hamburger is good, too. “Was walking by and decided to stop in. Was about 7ish on a Saturday evening. We got seated right away.Ordered the strawberry basil smash cocktail which was delicious, I had two. Also got the chips and queso and the quesabirria tacos. The tacos came with the consume too. The birria had decent flavor.We did sit next to the bar so my photos look green because of the giant green sign that said “social”.“

“This place is has some good Birria Tacos. I have yet to try more items on the menu, but I will soon. The prices are average, compared to most other places and taco trunks I visited. But the portion sizes is nothing close to the west coast or southern region.“
