Every time my husband and I eat Restaurante La Raza we always enjoy it. No matter what we order our food is super delicious! The staff here are ALWAYS willing to help you understand the menu if you have questions. They even have an English version of their menu! We love this place so much we almost go every day!

Restaurante La Raza is a favorite authentic Mexican restaurant in Indianapolis. The portions are huge, and the tortilla chips are freshly made. The food packs a punch of flavor, and the tacos are excellent. The quesabirrias are delicious, stuffed with meat, and the consome has very good flavor. The tacos de lengua and carne asada tacos are also popular, stuffed full of meat and served with red and green taco sauce. The chicken taco is phenomenal, though the birria taco lacked flavor. The restaurant also offers great jugo de Jamaica and a menu with sopes, tortas, burritos, and more. The atmosphere is great, with the happiness of customers and employees. The restaurant is run by family, and the menu isn't complicated, with pictures to illustrate it. The place is clean, with clean tables and chairs, though a bit shabby. The waitress is friendly and efficient, and the las cajeras are so nice. Located right across from the hospital, this small restaurant is a go-to for taco cravings.
