“I love the food and the ambiance here. The food is incredible and not overly priced. The service has been great both times we visited. For drinks I tried the Smoke and Stone and the Fire and Ice, I preferred the former. This is definitely one of my new favorites.“
“Tried for the first time tonight and I will definitely be returning!! Everything we tried was fabulous, from the queso to the sopes! They were so so Good!! Very friendly staff (attentive) we had three different people check on us! I would give them 10/10! Must try!!“
“I tried Sal & Pimenta on their first day open, I am going to tell you, is the best food I’ve had in my entire life. Me and my parter chose couple things to try it, (Chicken wrapped bacon, parmesan pork, Alfredo chicken fries, and Shrimp Skewer) and we took more than half home. We couldn’t finish it all, the portions are huge!! Really recommend this place and we are definitely coming back!“
“I've been to a lot of different Mexican restaurants in the Indy metro area, and this is hands-down one of the BEST. Got the camarones a la diabla and they were wonderfully spicy (not too supremely spicy either). Choriqueso was very well seasoned and delicious as well. Service was immaculate too. This will not be our last time here either!“
“We always go to Lucianas! Service was a little slower than normal this time and they weren’t very busy, maybe it was an off day for the server. Food is always great and drinks are always made perfectly! The parking lot at this location is a little difficult with it being kind of small but overall not bad.“
“For starters, I have to admit that the ordering process over the phone was quite chaotic for this business. Somehow it seemed as if three different people were on the line from their end, and it was really hard to get the order across. They estimated about 25 minutes for the food and ended up being more like 50 minutes. I share this just to give you fair warning when you go to place your own order. The great news is, the food was super delicious and everything was in the bags. We ordered a variety of dishes, including fried tacos, Horchata, beans, and rice, plantains, with Crema, tamales, guacamole torta, and Pupusas. All were packed with flavor and delicious. I especially enjoyed their beans and plantain dishes. The restaurant and store were all bustling with customers grabbing groceries or having dinner in. The vibe is what you would find in many other Mexican, grocery stores around Indianapolis that have a restaurant tucked in the back corner. Definitely felt like a spot for regulars, and next time I would probably opt to eat in the restaurant versus carry out.“
“I can't say enough good things about this place! Right when you walk in the door you are greeted with a smile. The staff are friendly and quite literally make you feel like part of their family. You can tell they have regulars because they stopped and chatted with almost all of their guests about "how they'd been." This is always my favorite thing about a local restaurant. The set up of the place is really spacious and makes you feel like you're in a courtyard! We only ended up having a margarita pitcher and chips and queso, but both were great, so we will definitely return for a full meal. I would return just to be treated like we were on this Friday night“
“The best waitresses very nice, kind and friendly. The pupusas are amazing I recommend trying it out. The tacos are delicious. Many menu options for the whole family to enjoy. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family.“
“Pupusas de chicharron 8.8/10Platanos con crema y frijoles 9/10Food did not disappoint! Service was slow (30 min) even for a small to go order but staff was friendly. Definitely no frills type of place. I'll be back for takeout but will call ahead next time.“
“While Los Cabos Mexican Grill in Castleton may not have the title or recognition of being the absolute best Mexican restaurant in Indianapolis, it's definitely in the running! The food taste absolutely amazing and is well portioned, the entire atmosphere of the restaurant is great and the service is top notch!“
“Very authentic Mexican restaurant. Look at all the menu items that are not offered at the Americanized Mexican restaurants. Last time I was here, I ordered the Chilaquiles, and I was offered the choice between the green sauce, red sauce or the Mole sauce. I chose the Mole and it was delicious. Today, I ordered the Menudo and it was the best I have had in a long time. The broth was rich and flavorful. I need to go back and try the Chicharron En Salsa Verde. Again, something you don't see on other restaurant menus.“
“It's a nice place to sit for lunch, not sure Abt dinner cuz the area seems shady ?Service was wonderful.Food was great but the lunch portion fajitas was small to me. Lot of onion and bell peppers in it that made it big but it was only enough for me to do 2 tortillas. At least the price wasn't bad“

“We had a lovely time this evening with a great bartender and staff. Loved the Down the Rabbit Hole drink and of course the empanadas. But it was the friendliness of the staff that was the highlight. Learned about a couple of drinks and the rim dip stand while talking to the bartender and the manager helped us with a future reservation. Both of them represented the restaurant very well. We are coming back with a group for a special dinner.“
