“Absolutely love the pumpkin pancakes so much, that I get them every visit! And summer the lemon blueberry. We ask for Layla every time, she knows what we drink and brings them before we ever ask. She jokes with my husband which he loves. She's funny, super sweet and such a great waitress. We've been coming here for a few months now, after leaving another pancake place, because of the food and service here. We bring all of out out of town guests here and upon a return visit this is where they want to come. Layla makes each visit the best part of our day!“

My husband David treated us to a delightful dining experience for Valentine's Day Eve. (I love dining "off holiday" for a more peaceful pace.) We've dined at Salt on Mass many times and continue to be thrilled with our experience. We reserved through Open Table and were seated immediately with our on-time arrival. I love a table with a view of the room's comings and goings, so #41 was ideal, again. We were welcomed by our server Ryan, who explained he was also our bartender. (Love it - special insights on cocktails and wines.) He served us well, attentive but not too much so, and we loved his creative chocolate martini as our "appetizer." :-) We chose our dinner favorites - Chilean Sea Bass with delectable risotto for David and Salmon with expertly grilled asparagus for me. The portions remain appropriately generous, so we split the Key-Lime Chiffon Cake for dessert. Congratulations Johnny and crew for delivering another memory-making visit. “This was our second visit to Yard House, and we still really enjoy the atmosphere, especially before a game. We started with the nachos, which were good, and also ordered chicken. Service was a little slower this time, but we weren't in a hurry, so that wasn't a big deal. Oddly, our chicken came out before our nachos. When we mentioned it to our server, she said the nachos take longer 😬...not quite sure about that one! My husband had a coffee-based beer that he thought was incredibly delicious. I ordered the salted watermelon margarita, which I loved on our last visit, but unfortunately it wasn't nearly as good this time. I'm not sure if the bartenders and staff were simply overwhelmed with the pre-game crowd, but overall this visit wasn't quite as good as our first. That being said, we'll definitely visit again. It's a great atmosphere and a super convenient location for games. Every restaurant can have an off day, so hopefully next time will be back to the experience we had on our first.“

I get iffy dining out because it’s not a cheap thing to do and if you get a bad server or the food sucks it truly ruins the experience.
