“Chris and his staff from Burgerhaus put on our event for the Valparaiso Girl's Basketball team. It was our end of the year banquet. Because of the size of the party, 110 people, they were unable to facilitate us in their space, however, they were able to use LePeep's space for the event. Chris coordinated everything with us as we went through the planning process. He was thoughtful, polite, kind, accommodating, and quick to help solve any issues. The food was DELICIOUS! It was cooked on-site, was hot and so so tasty! We had sliders with all the fixins, mac & cheese, salad with many dressings, and, of course, their delectable French fries! There was PLENTY of food for everyone. They allowed us to bring our own cake for dessert. They accommodated our screen and other technology that we brought in. Chris and his staff helped us to move the tables and chairs whevever we needed to in order to allow everyone to sit where they wanted and still see the presentations. If this wasn't my daughter's senior year, I would be contacting Chris and his phenomenal staff for another banquet!“

“Been eating here for years and recommending them for years if you want the best burger in Chesteron/Porter area. Some other favorites are the bacon wrapped poppers, steak or chicken flatbread, soups, and the only place I know that still has homemade pub chips. Just had my first ever minor issue with a cook on burgers and the owner addressed it and made it right. I am looking forward to their new bi-weekly specials to try some new items. “I seriously could not recommend Tania’s in Hobart more. The food is always great but THE SERVICE is everything!! Last Friday, my husband and I took our toddler for dinner there. Our baby was having a rough time and we decided to just order to go. When the manager heard this, he came over and said no no, don’t leave and sat us in the closed off area so that we could eat and our son could walk around. Not only was this over the top accommodating but then our server went brought coloring pages and even brought her own squishmallow to keep him company. When we thanked them, she said we all just have to help each other out! All this to say, we are truly touched by the kindness we were shown and we had a great meal (as always)!“

Its a smaller establishment so that was tough to deal with as far as anxiety goes, but we didnt have to wair long to be seated! Dexter aka Spicy White Tuna Roll was our server and he was efficient, friendly, and hilarious! I tried the Dragon Egg (what a masterpiece!) as well as the Autumn Lemon Roll (I LOVE lemon and was quite pleased). You get what you pay for here but it was an awesome sushi time!“

“We met friends here for dinner and hubs and I split a small pizza with tomatoes and onions and a small house salad. It was the perfect size for us! He ate four pieces of pizza and I ate two (one piece was a little bigger than the others), The sauce was a nice sweet sauce and there was lots of cheese with tiny diced tomatoes. We got to choose between white and red onions. We chose red, and they weren't too hot, so we were pleased. They had several crust types to choose from.

The salad was quite big; head lettuce, tomatoes, mushrooms, onions, cucumbers, green peppers, cheese, and croutons, and the ranch dressing was quite tasty.

Our friends split an XL sausage and cheese pizza and it was plenty big for the three of them. It probably could have easily fed four, five, six, depending on how hungry you are.

I believe that pizza isn't as good unless you drink root beer with it. The root beer was soooo good (of course, I haven't had a root beer in ages). This was definitely an excellent recommendation. Next time we're in town, we'll return.

The only issue we had was the volume level was quite loud. The ceilings are high and not finished, so the voices bounce all over the place, only getting louder and louder, and then you have to speak louder in order to be heard by the person sitting next to you, and it's a vicious circle. If they just lowered the ceilings or put in sound dampening panels, it would be much more enjoyable.“

“I have order takeout from this restaurant since 2020 about once every three months. I usually purchase New York strip dinners for three. I have never had a bad experience. “Home of the OG smash burgers. This is your classic Schoops. If you haven't been, shame on you. Anyway, it's an old school burger joint. They have green river if that is your thing. I can say that the Mickey I had here on my last visit was the best Mickey I have ever had. The service is with a smile and attentive. The soups rotate. If beef and barely is available the day you are there, get it. The Irish nachos are the bomb.“

“My family and I love JJ's! And if you haven't tried their version of stuffed crust pizza...it.is.a.MUST! We usually get a sausage and pepperoni stuffed crust and the whole pizza comes with a layer of crust on top! Not a thick layer, just enough to 'stuff' the pizza with delicious ingredients. They have pretty good mild/hot wings and they staff is always courteous. They messed up our order one time and we had driven to pick it up and didn't notice the mistake until we got home. We called them and they offered to deliver our order to us, no charge!“
