“Came in with a group, we had the upstairs room then told we had to be gone by 7pm We reserved the room at 515. So with that said, servers ok. Food came at 645. Manager told the group that we need to be out by then. 7pm because it was reserved for another group at 7. He told us that the staff didn’t inform him about it. Really kinda not our problem at that time. We were 30+ strong. Kids and all. I walked out at 715. Doesn’t seem right. Not mad but a concern with staff and communication. Food good, service ok, slow at times , restaurant was not totally full. I could see open tables. Yes I would come back, but come on. The manager should have known of the situation and made a plan B the weather was in the 70’s they could have used the courtyard. Ok sorry done.“

“Patty welcomed us and Brenda was very attentive! Our lunch was perfect! They have a nice variety of items on their menu. Great atmosphere and they have their patio enclosed during winter weather!!

We were pleasantly surprised to meet Patty when we were contemplating where to eat. She came outside and greeted us & welcomed us in!!!! So fun and this is definitely the place to be!! John took wonderful care of anything we needed. The food was ABSOLUTELY perfect!!! We ordered the Patty Melt with seasoned fries & Black and Bleu Burger with salad!!! There are no words to describe it. What a great atmosphere and all around experience!!! They have a wonderful patio with fans. Definitely the place to enjoy your lunch!!“

“Love the variety on the menu, the multiple dining areas and the way the history of the building has been preserved. Woodys has been a favorite of mine in downtown Carmel for a while now!“

“The ambiance is perfect for a date although I wouldve liked for a sectioned off area since they are located so close to the door. The wind and snow made the seating area very cold. However the drinks they served us did eventually warm us to a comfortable temperature. The food was prepared perfectly and with the good portion size you are able to get full. Although I can never eat all my food in puble
public so I was further please when J was able to reheat my ffod and it still tasted incredible. 8 out of 10 for sure. I gave them an 8 simply because i went for the devour menu and there were only two course actually bc the dessert was extra, we got it and it was good but still extra.“

“We only stopped by for a beer. The service was excellent. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The food looked good but we already ate. Ordered the Church Milk Stout and it was delicious and smooth. At over 6% one was enough. Tried the Jack Ringo. Very hot finish!“

“The food was ok. But onn January 25the they served us a christmas dessert with peppermint and christmas candy..... The server was very friendly but her bluse was not ironed well. We did not finish our second corse meet dish and the desert was already served. For a restaurant in a 5 star hotel. We would expect more attention to details. but overal not a bad experience.“

Great experience at Bar Louie Carmel. The vibe was relaxed, drinks were on point, and service was excellent. Shoutout to Amerelle behind the bar — she was friendly, attentive, and clearly knows what she’s doing. Drinks were made well, conversation was easy, and she made us feel welcome without hovering.
Definitely one of the better Bar Louie experiences I’ve had. Will be back.“
