“Love me some Dave’s. The chicken is delicious and always piping hot. The only downside is how they label their heat levels. If you are trying to order spicy chicken. Take whatever the label says and raise it one higher. ex. Medium is Hot. Hot is Very Hot. Very Hot is Extremely hot.
I get they have the “flex” of being really spicy but if you want to actually understand the heat levels compared to other places, think of it that way. Definitely not knocking the review for that though. Still a 5 star.”

“In the last week, I’ve been to Rush Bowl 3 times already 😂!! I love their bowls and toppings and I feel like these bowls are a lighter option than comparable competitors. I cannot say enough good things about this place and their friendly staff! 🩷”

“I would rate Bugambilias at 4.5 stars. The restaurant was small, neat, and clean. The service was efficient and friendly. The food was was not salty or greasy and had excellent flavor, which reminded me of good Mexican restaurants in southern California. The salsa was mild but flavorful and not salty. I didn't ask about medium or hot salsa because mild was good for us. My Shrimp Fajita was the best I've had with perfectly seared shrimp and tender but not overcooked or burned vegetables. My companions also loved their Mole Poblano and Beef Mexiote. The fried ice cream and churros were very good for dessert. I recommend it, and we will definitely be back soon.”

“Stopped in this morning to celebrate Father's Day with my husband. We enjoyed our breakfast. The grits were the best I've had in years. Sarah (our waitress) was amazing. She gave great suggestions and was so sweet. We will be coming back soon with our children.”

“Tried Kabab Grill on E. 96th street last night and was very impressed. The hummus appetizer topped with chicken shawarma was tasty and served with thin pita. It was delicious. Husband had chicken shawarma wrap. Son ordered lamb plate that included very generous portion of tasty lamb cubes/chunks that were nicely prepared. Served with seasoned rice and salad. Unfortunately no salad dressing but easy to eat with other items we had ordered. Now for the star of the evening: freshly made melt in your mouth falafel! It was crispy on the outside, very light and tasty on the inside. Best I’ve had stateside. Served with hummus and salad. Baklava was very light and crispy. I’m looking forward to our next visit soon.”

“This place filled me with pride! I truly believe they’re doing an amazing job bringing this Venezuelan experience to life. The flavors are straight out of Venezuela—authentic and unforgettable. The empanadas are world-class, and let me tell you about the patacones—you HAVE to try them. But fair warning: they're messy (don't say I didn't warn you!), and they're so big they can easily feed two people. The carne mechada tastes like something my grandma would’ve made, and the pork? 100% real Venezuelan flavor. The cachapas? Made in-house and absolutely phenomenal. And oh my goodness, that blackberry juice—they bring it straight from El Valle in Mérida!
The service was incredible! You can tell these guys are passionate about making sure you have a great experience. I'm pretty sure the people who served us were the owners themselves—they're that attentive and committed.
This place is BUSY, and for good reason. It's clear you're in the right spot when the line never stops.
The decor is perfect—a mix of Venezuelan and American vibes. I loved the screen showing beautiful Venezuelan landscapes, adding to the warm and inviting atmosphere.
Spotless. Absolutely clean and impeccable.
The music was on point too—some of Venezuela's best artists and a variety of rhythms while we were there.
The prices? Totally worth it. This isn't just street food—it's an incredibly delicious and enjoyable experience. You leave feeling refreshed, and honestly, the prices are very reasonable for what you get.
Oh, and the temperature inside? Perfect.
I'm leaving a big piece of my heart here along with all my best wishes. I hope this place expands to every corner of the U.S. May God bless them on their journey!
A couple of suggestions:
• Provide metal utensils for those unfamiliar with patacones (gringos, I’m looking at you!).
• Open locations in every city in Indiana, please!
I’m sorry I didn’t take pictures of all the food—we were starving! I promise I'll take some next time.
This place filled me with pride! I think they are doing a great job with this Venezuelan experience, the flavors are really brought from Venezuela, the empanadas are world-class, THE PATACONES have to be eaten, I warn you that they are boring, they can easily be eaten by two people, you have to warn the gringos if the levies are They're going to make that dirty, hahaha, the shredded meat looks like it was made by my grandmother, the pork is truly Venezuelan pork, the They make cachapas themselves and they are WORLDWIDE! For the love of Christ, they bring that blackberry juice from the Valley in Mérida
The attention… those guys do their best to ensure that you have a great time and that everything goes perfect for you, I am sure that those who attended to us are the owners
People don't stop coming to the buses and that says a lot that you are in a good place.
The decoration is GENAIL, gringo-Venezuelan and I loved the screen with videos of beautiful Venezuelan landscapes, how everything is close, the atmosphere is wonderful
SUPER CLEAN AND IMPECCABLE by the way
Perfect music from Venezuela's best exponents of different rhythms, at least while we were there
I think the prices are worth it because it is not just any street food, it is a very tasty and pleasant experience, you leave there refreshed and they are not expensive either.
The PERFECT temperature
I leave you a big piece of my heart and millions of blessings, wishing that you can go super far to all corners of the USA, may God bless you
Recommendations: metal cutlery for gringos with the patacon
And put buses in all the cities of Indiana

“We recommend Salt on Mass for its incredible consistency. The experience is always welcoming and forever delicious. My husband David treated us to a delightful dining experience for Valentine's Day Eve. (I love dining "off holiday" for a more peaceful pace.) We've dined at Salt on Mass many times and continue to be thrilled with our experience. We reserved through Open Table and were seated immediately with our on-time arrival. I love a table with a view of the room's comings and goings, so #41 was ideal, again. We were welcomed by our server Ryan, who explained he was also our bartender. (Love it - special insights on cocktails and wines.) He served us well, attentive but not too much so, and we loved his creative chocolate martini as our "appetizer." :-) We chose our dinner favorites - Chilean Sea Bass with delectable risotto for David and Salmon with expertly grilled asparagus for me. The portions remain appropriately generous, so we split the Key-Lime Chiffon Cake for dessert. Congratulations Johnny and crew for delivering another memory-making visit. Each one leaves us craving the next! Here's to you all! Sincerely satisfied, Garnet and David 2-13-25”

“Love Crumbl! This was the first time our order was messed up. Got two of the same cookie and one was left out of the 12 pack. Also, we initially were only handed 6 cookies (half our order) and almost left before the employee realized and stopped us the for the rest. We didn’t notice the messed up order until we got to the car. Normally they open the box and show us the order, but not this time. We still love you Crumbl!”

“Stopped into pick up a couple Persian rolls w/Carmel icing. I bought two and the sales lady (who I thought was being nice) said I'll give you one for free. Got home to realize all three were hard as a rock ..straight to the trash. Stop selling stale products. Usually good here ..will think twice about going back.”

“We walked right in on a Friday night and sat down at a table. Not only was our server probably one of the best we've had in this city in a LONG time but the food was amazing. We went with the classics- empanadas and the pao for apps, feijoada, picanha, and fajitas for the entrees. The food was just phenomenal. Very authentic, very delicious. Our server was very knowledgeable about all of the dishes and the drinks BUT the very best part of our experience was her attentiveness to our kiddos! We don't get to revisit places often because there are just so many to try but this place earned a spot on our "regular" list.”

“LongHorn Steakhouse – East Side Indy
From “Not My Thing” to “My New Obsession”
Okay, so let me be real—I’ve never been a big fan of LongHorn. Not because it was bad, it just never wowed me. But last night? Bay-bee, that all changed.
My husband and I had a sweet tooth, so we swung by for a curbside pickup and ordered three things:
• The Strawberry Shortcake
• The Chocolate Molten Lava Cake
• The Parmesan Crusted Spinach Dip
And let me tell you… that spinach dip nearly caused a friendly marital food fight. It was so creamy, flavorful, and addictive, I found myself racing my husband to finish it first. We were not sharing well.
But the real showstopper?
That strawberry shortcake.
Oh. My. God.
Every bite was pure magic—soft, rich, creamy, dreamy. It had me sitting in the car saying “Thank you, Jesus” with my eyes closed. That dessert alone made me a believer.
We originally had plans to go to Harry & Izzy’s for Mother’s Day dinner…
Plans changed.
LongHorn earned that spot.
Happy Mother’s Day to me—and shoutout to the LongHorn team for finally turning this skeptic into a straight-up fan.”
