“Food, so good I will ride a mobility scooter 10 miles an hour for a length of a half a mile in the cold, blistering wind to receive my nourishment from the Cedar Lake kitchen. Staff tremendously helpful and friendly, making me feel at home. It’s where family and friends meet.“

“I was traveling through Crown Point and was blessed to have parked across the street from here. From the moment I walked in to the moment I started my 5 hour drive back home I was greatly impressed. The owner, the staff, the amazingly delicious offerings... I don't travel this way often but even when close I will be sure to take the time to come back. My only advice... They have the best French toast then any other place around the area! price was more than fair!! Great food, cheap in price, recommend over Sophie's pancake house in the old bakers square building!“

“Went to the Valpo location this morning and brought my mom along. Was a first time for the both of us. While the food was good, service was excellent, however, I ordered the meat lover this morning which was 3 scrambled eggs, ham, bacon, hash browns and sausage. The only complaint I have was the eggs. While they were good, it was only like 1.5 eggs. did not seem like 3. Thats my only complaint. Thought about ordering a side of eggs to make up for it, but decided against it. Other than that, it was delicious. I will be back for sure.“

“This place was great before they closed,i dont know what happened but i wont be back.After waiting a little more then an hour on a not so busy saturday afternoon, and asking several times about our order,our waiter disappeared and we had to get the manager. She then brings our order herself and it was pathetic,un eatable. So she apoligized and we keft without eating and went to another restuarant. So after that i wouldnt go back,but i did and turns out they just had a bad day and i happened to be there for it. I'm glad i went back because they have always had good food and great prices and wonderful service and i was wrong to jump the gun on this,they are still good,one of the few in the county,i drive out of my way to dine here,its worth it!“

“Came here after a very long night. Service was excellent. Kai was exceptional. He was incredibly polite and was on top of everything from water refills, clearing dirty dishes, removing trash, etc. Never had such a clean table while eating. It was awesome.“
