This was our first time visiting Cedar Lake Kitchen, and we wish we had known about it sooner because we go to uncle John's flea market nearby, three or four times each summer...The restaurant has a huge menu and everything looked good... I had the cheeseburger with mashed potatoes and gravy, and I loved it! My companion had the biscuits and gravy and he gave it the seal of approval.
So I am a local in Ceder Lake, I have been going here since I was 2 months old. The owner would let my great grandma just sit wherever she wanted, (rest in peace) and everything there is just amazing. If you are a traveler, please eat here. It will be a experience you will never forget.

Great basic diner. The omelets, skillets and sampler dishes are all worth it. My favorite is the pecan waffle, add the sautéed apples. Worth every penny, trust me. The George's Special omelet is also very good. I recommend the diced potatoes. Not because the hash browns are bad, but they are definitely worth a try.
