“Food, so good I will ride a mobility scooter 10 miles an hour for a length of a half a mile in the cold, blistering wind to receive my nourishment from the Cedar Lake kitchen. Staff tremendously helpful and friendly, making me feel at home. It’s where family and friends meet.“

“I have ordered Rosati's pizza delivery many times. Delivery was excellent however our pizza tonight was definitely not up to the regular standards. The crust was soggy, it was light on sauce, and could have cooked a few minutes more. I will continue to order Rosati pizza as I feel it is the best in the area. “Doug was patient, cordial, very attentive. My mom, 96, has not been out for a meal in 5 yrs. Doug made this a pleasant experience for the 4 of us. Comfortable sitting, great comfortable noise level, not crowded sitting( we had a wheelchair), food excellent. Pork shoulder outstanding. No stickiness on anything. Best day/meal ever! Thank u Doug“

“I had an absolute great time here. I have never tried food like this before and I tell you, I am hooked. The service was great. The server came around many times to make sure that we had what we needed and the food was brought out hot. it was also a joy to talk to her. She was very personable. I loved that the restaurant was very clean (and so was the bathroom which I appreciated). The food was absolutely amazing. We ordered one appetizer and no lie, the dishes covered the whole table. My daughter and I were both full before our entrees even came to the table. I ordered a combo plate and everything on it was super delicious. I didn't even know what half of it was but I took it home and finished it the next day. we then went into the store which is attached to the restaurant and bought some stuff to take home. everyone we encountered there was very warm and welcoming. If we didn't know what something was, they explained it to us. We left there happy, full and with a very light heart like I had just left my parents house. I gave them 10 out of 10 stars. It was a great experience and some of the best food I've ever eaten.“

“The upstairs bartender, Aaron C. does the work of 2 bartenders. I sat at the bar...he served me my lunch. He was very friendly and fast. The upstairs was loaded with like 50 guests from a baseball team? So he was VERY busy. But that didn't stop him from speed, accuracy and friendliness! Best bartender ! He deserves a raise!“

“Was there last Friday. Food and service were excellent. They were out of the Stagg bourbon that I ordered…which was priced at $30 a pour. The waiter asked if I would like to substitute EH Taylor Small Batch instead…which is priced at $17 per pour in the menu. I said that would be fine. I watched them bring the bottle out which I recognized as Small Batch. The bourbon was excellent. Received my bill and was charged the $30 for the Stagg. Pointed it out to the waiter and he said oh no, the bourbon we substituted for you is priced much higher at $47 a pour and we gave that to you for the same price since we were out of the Stagg. I said, no you gave me the EH Taylor Small Batch which is priced at $17 on the menu. He said no I don’t think so. I said can you please ask the bartender what she poured, she said it was the small batch. They whispered back and forth a bit and she told me that I should take advantage of that bill adjustment…like I got a deal when all I wanted was to be charged according to what the menu stated. In the end our waiter was apologetic, adjusted our bill correctly, and was very friendly and attentive throughout our dinner. Just seemed a bit fishy to me. I don’t know everything about bourbon but, I do some hunting and would never pay $30 let alone $47 a pour for Taylor small batch.“

“I was craving Thai and we had an errand in Lake County. We happened upon this GREAT find off off 65. Do not let the exterior fool you, it's super cute and cozy inside and the brother/sister team serving and cooking were hospitable and kind. We loved the Scallion Dumplings, Tom Kha Soup, noodle dishes, stir fries and more. It is totally reasonable for what you get. Will be back soon with our boys!“

“We typically love it here. However, we had an easily avoidable issue yesterday. The app only allows the "call ahead" for up to 6. We had a party of 12. So, we called the location to ask if they could accommodate a party of 12. We kept getting placed on hold by 3 different employees only to be told they can't give a time estimate until we are physically there (15+minutes btw of employee after employee). Okay, we pack up and head there. After arriving we are told they can't even sit the 12 of us together and it's a 1.5 hour wait. What a WASTE of OUR time. I understand the wait is based on the customer traffic. But if you guys know you can't sit 12 together, TELL US OVER THE DAM PHONE!!!!!!“

“Came in and the place was completely empty, sign said "seat yourselves" it felt kind of awkward but someone came out to greet us a few seconds later. Staff was super friendly and nice! I brought my grandmother and she wanted to split her meal with someone who wasn't able to come to the restaurant in person, so they brought out half of her meal and waited until we were almost done with the other half freshly made and packaged! Lake perch was great! Not like other restaurants that try to serve ocean perch as lake perch. The Nashville hot chicken strips were a little disappointing they didn't have any heat to them, but the chicken was cooked perfectly and the breading was really good so it made up for it! Mac n cheese was delicious, I was even impressed with the fries! None of them were soggy or over salted! I'm sad I couldn't have tried them sooner!“
