“We come here from a western Chicago suburb because the food has always, always been great. My husband loves the frog legs and I love the perch, the best perch I’ve ever eaten, truly. We came here on Thursday evening, a real spur-of-the-moment thing and weren’t disappointed. This time I ordered the walleye pike & found it delicious. Two big filets of it which I enjoyed thoroughly. My husband got the frog legs as usual; neither of us went away hungry & loved everything. It’s dismaying to hear that others have had bad service or less than excellent food; we have never had that experience in the last 15 years that we’ve come here. A terrific night out! “Very nice little family restaurant.“

“The food is delicious (both the smokey roasted chicken and fajitas are enough food for a couple of meals. I always bring half home for lunch or dinner the next day. If you ask, they will give you a couple of rolls/cinnamon butter, BBQ sauce, or extra tortillas to take home with your leftovers). They have friendly servers and management, TVs playing sports available, County music playing in the background, free Peanuts (self serve), small area with video games, kid friendly. The only complaint I have is that I ordered a raspberry margarita and it definitely lacked tequila (if there was any in it, I sure didn't taste it. The margarita in general tasted kinda watered down). I will not be ordering any more prepared alcoholic drinks there. I'll stick to a beer, sweet tea, or water.“

“get it very often. When I am in the area though I do stop and grab some. We had the pleasure of having Naomi and Deborah assist us. Naomi was definitely built for this job! Deborah is so sweet as well! I hope you all know what great employees you do have! In the middle of the night, normally we would receive service that was subpar because most people do not want to be working in serving midnights. This was not the case at all with these two! Naomi is a good addition to your team. She had us laughing the whole time! Thank you for hiring to employees like this!“
