“Hostess refused to seat us because she was told they had to "leave a table open incase people are on a wait". However, no one was on a wait... just us, waiting for a table. and another table was leaving, and she refused to sit us there too because we were a party of 2. told we would have to wait 20-25 minutes, just incase that table needs to be given to someone else. Make it make sense. We won't be back.”

“I friggin love Americana in Centerville! they are super friendly, and extremely accommodating. I called with probably an oddball request, a pizza but no dough. "No problem!" I understand it IS on their computer menu, and it is way better than any of the other local offerings IMHO.”

“We catered our wedding cake and the cupcakes for the guests through LisaCakes and that was the best thing we did, sweets wise 🧁 I've never had such rich and soft cake/cupcakes! They were a tremendous hit with the guests and we're still enjoying the leftovers of them now 😉 She made them EXACTLY as I instructed and ordered and they were just gorgeous. Thank you so much for being a part of our big day and I will definitely be recommending LisaCakes to everyone!”

My scallops came out on a plate with my cauliflower and was drenched in water from the veggie I sent it back and it came back with less scallops (5) but originally had 8. We ate upstairs and it was so hot and crowded in the little room. The service was fair. It is reasonable priced. May try it again. It was still a good birthday”

“I loved La Mex my entire time living in Richmond. Their authenticity and comfortable low-key dining atmosphere (not during covid) makes them a wonderful lunch/dinner stop. Their burritos are incredibly - big fan of breakfast burrito with green sauce!! Also they have a nice selection of grocery products!”

We especially love the breakfast burritos, and as someone who doesn't eat meat I really appreciate the option to add tons of veggies as opposed to just eggs and cheese. If I need to do laundry again soon I will be coming back! Uptown laundry is about a 3 minute walk as well so it's very convenient!!!”

“You can tell if a place makes good ice cream by trying their vanilla- nothing fancy, no toppings. If they make good vanilla (which this place did) then their other flavors will be good too. I tried 3 flavors. Yes, they do samples.
The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because it's so pricey. It's cheaper just to buy a $7 Pint from them(about 3 scoops go in a Pint) than a $5 scoop.

“A family owned little hole in the wall diner. With amazing food and even better company. Had a great conversation with the owner about how all of his grandkids have worked at the diner and what an amazing thing that is in today’s day and age. The locals who were present while we ate and chatted were some of the friendliest folk as well. 11/10 stars. Would DEFINITELY recommend to anyone traveling through the area.”
