“Very noisy place. Everyone there talks really loud. Was hard to enjoy the company I was with because we couldn't hear each other to conversate. Not a good place to go if your trying to get to know someone. Other than that it's a relatively good place to get good food.“

It was 10 minutes until closing, and we were graciously welcomed to come in even though it was obvious the staff would be held over to serve us. The food was served quickly and was very delicious. Our waitress helped us locate lodging and gave directions how to find it. If we lived in Louisville, this restaurant would see us on a regular basis. Very impressed…5-star rating!!!“

“My brother and I go every other Thursday and I always bring my canine partner Luna 1400 Adam the staff absolutely love Luna and they treat us like family. I would highly recommend the Tumbleweed on Bardstown Road in West buechel because from walking in the front door Shelby greets you and treats you like family then our waiter or waitress comes over we know everybody by name and they call us by first name it's definitely a wonderful atmosphere please give them a try. “We usually have the same server and she is always on top of everything, keeping our drinks, chips & salsa refilled at all times. She gets my baby a high chair and applesauce to eat, crayons to color with before our food ever arrives which is so nice! Food always arrives quickly and so far every dish I’ve tried here is packed with so much fresh flavor. I have tried the white chicken chili with jalapeño cornbread, the chimichanga with rice & beans, the Tex Mex Melt with seasoned waffle fries and literally everything from the side of rice to the seasoned ground beef is so flavorful and absolutely delicious! When I go to Mexican restaurants that are not Tex Mex, they just don’t have the great flavors as they do here at Tumbleweed. Or only one or two things are good and everything else is bland tasting. But not here at tumbleweed. It doesn’t matter what you get, it’s all full of flavors!“

“Service is at the top of the list of reasons why I go to restaurants. Food of course is a factor also but if service is bad I won't go regardless. The food here was ok but the service was excellent. I ended up sending my steak back because I asked for it to be medium but it came well done. They did it again but it was then too salty and still tough. It was prime rib so I was expecting it to be tender. The server was so gracious about it. I didn't ask for it to be taken off the check but she did it on her own. For that I was grateful. For that I would also return a second time to give the place another chance.“
