“We visited Ahlemeyer Bakery last week. Though I've been wanting to write a post about their pies since then, life got in the way. We bought three pies: apple, mixed berries, and sugar cream. Oh, the sweet taste of American pies! I'm salivating just thinking about them. My favorite was their apple pie: a perfect blend of tart and sweet. Their pie crust, oh heaven, was soft, airy, crunchy, and buttery. I could form a mattress out of that pie crust and sink my whole body in there for eternity. And, may I recommend vanilla ice cream to go with them pies? Your life will feel so complete, even just for a sweet moment.“

“Authentic Creole food! It's fabulous! I drive an hour just to eat here. It's that good! My favorite go-to is the gumbo. I've eaten here at least a dozen times and have never been disappointed with the food, service, or cleanliness of the place.“
