“Food is good. Great beer and wine selection. Atmosphere is good. My only complaint would be all the kids they have running the place. I guess that is just a "thing" in some places. I always prefer confident, experienced wait staff and bartenders. We would go more often if they opened before 4:00“

“Our family has eaten here 5 or 6 times and we do enjoy the food. Sadly, with each visit, the service has been worse than the previous visit. While I don't really understand why, I have to admit it's very frustrating. I am a permanent wheelchair user so getting in and getting a table that works can be a little difficult, but I don't blame the establishment for that. However, I would expect the servers, hostess, etc. to be a little more friendly and just tell us it will be a few minutes to get a table. I understand that and don't have a problem with it. All I ask is a little courtesy. Please work on this with the employees.“

“Loved this!! Charming restaurant looking out into Lake Maxinkuckee. The lakeside theming inside was perfect! Outdoor garden seating looked so nice and would be fun once it gets warmer. Service could not have been better. We ordered the seafood bisque, wedge salad and rueben with fries. We were impressed with it all actually. The bisque was a nice sized bowl and flavorful. The wedge was huge. Excellent salad to share. Bacon was crispy and plenty of tomatoes and blue cheese dressing. Highly recommend. The show stopper however was the rueben. I'll be driving back here for this sandwich alone. Slow roasted corned beef. Yes please. Served with extra thousand island on the side and crispy fries. Outstanding.“

“This is the place to go when you are looking for good food fast. I have to state that this isn’t just fast food, it is better than most local restaurants in the area. Fish is always fresh, the fries are great, and everything that is fried taste crisp and clean.Staff is friendly and quick even with large orders. If I’m not cooking dinner. This is a first choice even if it is out of the way.“

“We had the very best experience. Good por- tions, the very best service, and the owner was the best. We had a large group and she jumped in and helped what a wonderful lady. You can tell her workers loved working for her as they gave their best also. We will be back I'm sure.“

“Pizza Bills is the best. It's just a bummer they don't have the dining room open anymore. It was a fixture throughout my entire upbringing; a real treat on the ocassional friday or saturday night, and you'd always see people you knew there so it was a great place to socialize and keep up with friends and neighbors. The food is still the same amazing fare it always was though, and I'm happy it's still around!“

“I had the ribeye and it was cooked to perfection (medium rare) the baked potato was awesome. I normally didn't eat the skin but it wasn't dry and hard like other places. The salad was very good too. 4 stars for food for the same reason as last time, no bread. It would up game so much. But that's just me, I'm a bread freak with a steak dinner. At least a roll or something. My husband had the lake perch with fries and cole slaw. I noticed he didn't eat the slaw which must not have been to his liking because my man usually eats everything in front of him lol Service was very good and we really enjoyed the atmosphere there. Highly recommend. Prices were what we expected for what we ordered. Three meals, two steak dinners and the fish for $93 + $20 tip.“

“Our waitress was very slow didn't ask if we wanted drink refills or water my son had to ask for water I dropped my fork and asked another waitress for another as she passed our table and our waitress was huffy when she brought me a new one“
