“Our family has eaten here 5 or 6 times and we do enjoy the food. Sadly, with each visit, the service has been worse than the previous visit. While I don't really understand why, I have to admit it's very frustrating. I am a permanent wheelchair user so getting in and getting a table that works can be a little difficult, but I don't blame the establishment for that. However, I would expect the servers, hostess, etc. to be a little more friendly and just tell us it will be a few minutes to get a table. I understand that and don't have a problem with it. All I ask is a little courtesy. Please work on this with the employees.“

“I come to Castaways quite often with my family, friends, coworkers, and my clients. The staff are friendly and engaging with my toddler(the owner and the wait staff have even played with my daughter and always take the time to let her know she's important), and they're absolutely amazing with my clients who are intellectually disabled(they're very patient and never rush them to order, they are very sweet and friendly and always engaging and helpful). The owners are amazing people, who always make you feel welcome and make sure you're taken care of--even if that means waiting the tables, bussing the tables, cashing out customers themselves. I have never had a bad experience in the dozens of times I have gone here over the years. The food is always amazing, and the portions are huge. You never leave hungry, most of the time you leave with leftovers. The entire restaurant is very homey and cozy, I love the diner feel, and I love how comfortable it always is to be there. You never feel out of place. I'd recommend this place to anyone and everyone!“

“We went here for the first time for a family dinner. The other Mexican style restaurants in town have gone way down hill as far as quality and service. We were glad that we tried this place. I tried the shrimp tacos and they were great. The service was very fast and the wait staff is right on top of anything you need. The prices are great. If you haven’t tried this place yet, and you like Mexican food, go! You won’t be disappointed.“

“No photos, sorry. Had dinner there with a few others that invited me out, a few night ago. Got the fish special. I love fish. Enjoyed the all-you-can eat perch. Food was decent. Service was friendly and good, everyone else seemed to enjoyed their meal. First time I'd ever eaten there and I've live in this town for 15 years. 8-D May try the chicken strips the next time I eat there. Looked better and larger than some fast food place, that's for sure and the dinner will be a lot less on your wallet.“
“Came here on a Saturday for lunch, visiting during a cross country meet, that brings in thousands from all over. I highly recommend getting any dish that comes with corned beef. The Reuben or The walking Burger are amazing! Gladly come back if we are ever in town again.“
