“My family and I stopped at Trish’s Red Bird cafe on our way through to Kentucky from out of state. Immediately you could sense the kindness of the staff and could tell they truly wanted you to have a wonderful experience. My kids were given crayons and coloring mats and my littlest a little basket of toys that kept her entertained the entire meal (not something that ever happens). There were so many great options to choose from when it came to the menu and all of my children quickly found something they were excited to eat. (Again a rarity). My kids absolutely loved the cheese pull of the grilled cheese and the onion rings and the sauce they come with are amazing our favorite out of the meal. Everyone left happy and with full tummies. Before leaving my kiddos were given a little gift that they absolutely love and chalk to take with to make pictures in memory of a young woman (family/ niece to the owner) who left this world way too soon. My heart goes out to the families for their loss, what a beautiful way of honoring her memory. Thank you for treating my family like family. This is the first review I’ve ever written and it still doesn’t feel like it does this place justice. If you’re looking for a wonderful family friendly place to stop and eat you won’t be disappointed with this place their historic connections to the town, little shop inside, their support of other local businesses, and truly the most genuinely kind customer service I’ve experienced in today’s world.“

“I've been by this place and heard nothing but good things about their burgers. So whilst in town on a college visit with my son, that would be Purdue University, we had some time to kill and decided today was the day. We didn't have to wait to long to go belly up to the counter and put our order in with Valarie. By the way she was a phenomenal waitress who was friendly and alway had our root beer topped off. This place was really crowded at lunch time and if you are one of those people who don't want to sit right next to a stranger then I recommend axing for an outdoor table. I had the Flash Gordon burger and this monstrosity was amazing. 4 burgers, bacon, grilled onion, cheese, jalapeno pepper and jalapeno catchup. I am leaving a picture that I took so you can gaze at that burger in all its glory before I commenced to put it away. My son, who isn't very adventurous had the grilled tenderloin, plain. He did say that it was good for what it's worth. But get yourself a burger because they all looked delicious. We will be consuming meals at this historic local again soon.“

“Legacy Pub is hands down the best restaurant in lafayette. Absolutely amazing service, always hot fresh food, atmosphere is perfect, big outdoor patio, any drink under the sun plus some. If you haven't been you need to go! The owner Jeff is a stand up guy, and his staff is always on point. All the servers are amazing! “This place is now called Andies. The place is like a fusion of Waffle house and IHOP in a old diner setting. Classic setting. Reasonably priced and appears popular with locals. A must to visit and try their pancakes and other delicacy. Nice staff.“

“Our 1st choice for beer + pizza [despite lackluster server attitudes], but my Blue Moon has been lukewarm the last two visits. :( Asked the waiter for a cold option and was met with an annoyed “meh” response and excuse for the warm beer vs interest in a customer issue/solution seeking…so we left for our 2nd choice. Might return to the Sparrow, might not.😕“

“My wife and I went here for our 34 year anniversary and Ky was our wonderful waitress , she was the best ever , she was attentive but not invasive to the point where we couldn’t enjoy our dinner. The steak she had was great , she loved the green beans , my prime rib was amazing cooked to perfection the au gratin potatoes were delicious we both enjoyed the table side salad that they made for us . Again with Ky can’t say enough about her service hopefully she will be there when we go back I will request her . 10 stars ⭐️ A+++“

“Checked in online and chose room. Arriving at the hotel I was greeted with very friendly front desk staff and recognized as a Diamond member. Presented a warm cookie and informed two free bottles of water were in y room. Room was very clean and large with room for two chairs, a table, a long cabinet that contained the large screen TV, coffee maker, and a small refrigerator. The bathroom contained a walk in shower and was of decent size. Throughout my two night stay all the staff I contacted were friendly and ready to help. Had a sandwich each night from the lobby restaurant and they were delicious. The free coffee in the beautiful and spacious lobby was very good. The only drawback was the noise from I65 that could be heard in the evening. Recommend rooms ending in even numbers be selected as they are on the quiet side. I selected my room online not realizing the odd numbers face the freeway. I will stay here on my next visit.“

“Being new to the area my wife and I still trying learn where and what to eat this was our 1st time there. Service was excellent walked in and seated from first interaction with waitress from drinks to food served less than 15 mins. Food was amazing and we will definitely be back.“

“Very nice open air setup with friendly service. It's tucked in a place where there is no other retail around, so could be hard to find when driving. You have to find the location on maps and then drive. Not much street signage.
One of local must visit place. Went for lunch, but I believe dinner may be more lively. Have outdoor seating.“

“My friend and I came here for the first time this morning when they opened. It was very quiet but got packed after 45’. Our waitress was kind and recommended the egg Benedict. “We had such a great time at Digby’s Pub and Patio in Lafayette! After I posted in our towns FB chatter page asking if anywhere would be playing the Bills game, the owner, Mike, personally invited us down — and we’re so glad he did. The patio is super nice for outdoor seating, but inside has the exact small-town dive bar vibe you want to hang out in. Perfect spot to catch a game, with several huge TVs. The food was fantastic! We ordered the cheese bricks (the raspberry sauce is unexpected but so good!), spinach & artichoke dip, the Frisco Smash burger, and sweet potato fries that were absolutely addictive. The burger was cooked perfectly, hot, juicy, and served on perfectly toasted bread. Drinks and service were both a 10/10. On Sundays they also have $4 drink specials (Bloody Marys, screwdrivers, and mimosas)…can’t beat that. If you’re looking for a chill spot with great food, cold drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere, don’t sleep on Digby’s. We’ll definitely be back!“

“My wife and I went in randomly one day for an appetizer and some drinks and sat at the bar. The service was great and so were the drinks. Due to the service we decided to go back and try it for dinner last night. We sat at the bar again, the bar staff was awesome and very friendly. The entire staff honestly was nice. Even the customers at the bar were super friendly. The place is super clean and nothing in there looks cheap, the bar is nice, the chairs, even the tables look nice. We sat there for hours and the bar just seemed like the place to be on a Friday night! The menu is pretty big and has a great variety. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Thank you to the bartenders who have been nothing short of welcoming!“

“What a delightful hidden gem in the small town of Battleground, IN. I visited the museum, then had lunch here. A warm welcome, patient wait staff, large portions, and very good prices. Very cozy and pleasant.
I had the sirloin steak and salad.

“Longhorn is one of our favorite steakhouses. But not today. My wife got the Parmesan Chicken. This is always a great dish and today was no exception. And the sweet potato side we both got was great too. Our service was excellent as always. So why the food rating of 3 stars? The 12 oz ribeye steak I got was tough, lacked marbling, and was cooked medium although I asked for medium rare. Normally I get the 20 oz and it is great. But the 12 oz? Pass“

“This place is a ghost kitchen of Denny's, as such, some of the burgers are the same (or renamed version of) what you can get at Denny's. That said, it's a pretty solid choice around here for a burg.I tried the Pig 'N' Chicken Burger and the Rodeo Ring Beyond Burger and both were really good. The chicken wasn't overcooked like many places, and the Beyond Burger was flavorful with great toppings.They pack the burgers in sturdy boxes to prevent them from getting smashed.Just a couple of fumbles: I ordered a "double" on my sandwich and didn't get it, and the order also took quite a while to get.“

“We stopped in just by chance and we're not disappointed! There were three guys that appear to be running the bar and waiting all the tables. There are a lot of good drink choices and delicious food. We tried the loaded waffle fries with bacon, cheese and jalapeño. It was enough to share and it was hot and yummy. We also ordered the bosco sticks. We have had them many places but they added something to the top of theirs that makes it taste great! They come with a cup of cheese and a cup of marinara.“
