I had been disappointed since the haddock dinner was removed quite some time ago, and the Friday fish dinner was even better. The breading was light and tasty. Sampled their world winning Octoberbest, I found it very similar to the ideal smooth and crispy Sam Adams seasonal beer, tried then went with a growler fill of the lager. Bitter forward rich and complex, cannot quite place the overall notes which is fine, there is plenty to slowly enjoy. Just like this place in the heart of american Midwest, polite staff, beautiful and large bar and main rooms, kid friendly spaces, and there's an outdoor patio as well. It all makes Moontown a place to return for nights and sunshine.“

They had many large TV's for those trying to catch the game as well as great drink specials ($2 beers on Thursday)I normally get salads from grocery store salad bars which typically run $8.99 a lb but this giant plate only cost 7.99! “I'm not a chain/franchise restaurant type of person. I prefer small local places to support the local economy instead of Dine Brands Global, the company that owns Applebee's. Anyways, my buddy told me the $5 appetizers were legit and I owed him lunch, loser! ? So we went. Holy freakin smokes. We got a LOOOT of food for like 40 bucks! And it was surprisingly decent! The bread sticks! ?? It was a good experience and hilarious how much food we got for so cheap.“

She got a medium well ribeye (I'm sorry) with asparagus baked potato and a ? marg. I got lemon grilled chicken with the cob corn and a baked potato. We also shared the fried shrimp
The fried shrimp took a strangely long time to come out but by the time I noticed, the manager was bringing it out to me and letting me know that she was comping it for me due to the wait. Before I even had the chance to ask about it. I appreciate the commitment to excellence on that front.
All the food was excellent and my date was raving about the quality of her drink the entire time.

The manager Heart (her actual name) was so generous she even came out and helped me jumpstart my car after I left the lights on by accident during our meal. It's clear she really cares and wants to do right by everyone that steps in the building. Will absolutely return if possible“

“Delicious, friendly staff, and a good dining area and atmosphere. Even though I took it to go, I wouldn't mind eating in. A large chili and small fries is barely over $10. Upgrading from a small chili to a large chili was only one additional dollar. The fries are hot and crisp and the chili is pure Midwestern goodness“

“Tonight we had dinner for my husbands birthday. Our waitress, Brandi, was incredible. Extremely efficient, friendly, and funny. She refilled drinks without being asked. Wasn’t intrusive but always there if we needed anything. Just an extremely kind, fun person. She made our evening!!!“
