“Nice unassuming restaurant in a small town. It's your standard American fare, but done pretty well. My fish sandwich was HUGE, though the taste was only good (not great). I think the rest of my family liked their food more. Prices are reasonable, as well.“

“The Brass Ring is a very good place to order a great pizza and have a beer or a mixed drink. The atmosphere seems to me pretty friendly. They also have a couple of pool tables which in my opinion are fair but by no means the best out there. They have a shuffle board table that I played on in the 1980's and is still in pretty good shape. The owner Rick is friendly person and the bar tenders seems friendly. I like going just to kill a couple of hours. Great place to kick back and have a drink. I highly recommend the Brass Ring. I am a newbie again like I said I went in there back in the 1980's and been going in for just a month or so. Go enjoy yourself. Rick has a dog or it maybe someone else that's very friendly so expect to play ball with him. You gotta love that, but by no means will he bother you if you are not a dog liver. I am personally!“

“I LOVED this place!! I loved the atmosphere. Our bartender was so amazing. The food was excellent. This is the perfect “dive” bar. I’d love to come back to experience the night life. I’ve never had such a good burger. It was the best burger I’ve had in a really long time. Fried mushrooms were so good too. I come to Indiana once or twice a year to visit my aunt and uncle. I’ll be coming back for burgers every visit back. This place is literally a gem to find. So happy we stumbled across this bar. I’ll take this place over a fine dining restaurant any time. It felt like home.“

“Tried The Lakeview Inn tonight. Gotta say pretty good food. The owners are some locals who grew up on the place. They bought it and are living their dream. Definitely need to get out here and give them a try.We tried a few items. Started out with Cheese bread smothered in cheese delicious garlic flavor. The guys ordered a texas strom and devoured it before I could get a picture. Next came the pizzas. Thin crust plenty of topping. Sauce is just right not over powering.Owner took our order came over checked on us. Very friendly.So come out and see Nick and Stefanie at what some would considered the perfect neighborhood place to stop and have a beer, eat dinner and become part of the family.“

“The frontier bar and restaurant catered the alcohol for our wedding. They were AMAZING! So so so easy to work with and willing to find the specific wine I requested. They were so nice and helpful during the reception. I have gotten so many compliments on them and it’s only been a day! Thank you so much you guys!!“
