“Was visiting Bloomington for an IU football game and we hung out at The Tap to watch. Great atmosphere with fun music, and despite being busy, our server was super attentive!! The tap fries were a perfect shareable for the table. I also really enjoyed and would recommend the haystack burger and celestia beer!“

“They don't make them like this anymore - literally. The building housing this small tavern in tiny Gosport was built in 1835. It's definitely not fancy, and much of the decor looks original. It does feature a very nice old wooden bar. The bar food was simple but very well prepared.“

“I don't drink so I can't judge the taste of the beer. But I came with buddy that loves craft beer so we went to tap room. The pizza awesome and I found out they had card games. Play cards for humanity for first time. Had great time with friends there.“

“Visiting from Florida and can barely make it to any other places downtown because as soon as we see the alley bar we decide that’s the best place to stop in, less crowded, immaculate service, and our guy Bailey is always there to welcome us with a smile. I cannot recommend this place enough. Definitely worth the stop!“

“My friends and I loved this place. We were staying in a nearby AirBnB for a wedding and happened here by chance. The owner was so passionate about their food, and told us all about their history. Authentic to the food of puebla mexico, the meals were amazing as, well as the horchata. Their mole is made in house and was fantastic. Don't be surprised to order an item and recieve something different than what you were expecting, because the food is very authentic to the region it derives from. If we ever find ourselves in Bloomington again we will be back for sure!“

You'll have a clever bartender regardless of who is working at the time. In my opinion it's a refreshing break from the hustle and bustle of overrun college bars in Bloomington.“
