A great addition to downtown. The food I received from ‘That Place’ was fresh, tasty and well priced. There was plenty of seating and the wait times didn’t seem bad for anyone. My only complaints are:The music is very loud. Like, can’t talk to the person sitting across from you loud. Night club loud. It was also extremely hot inside, so hopefully they get the AC situation figured out. In general though, a good concept with good food.
Cool spot. We had good food: a burrito and a portobello sandwich with a salad from different vendors.My only complaint was that the music was way too loud. It was 4:30PM on a Monday and they were blasting classic rock so loud it made conversation over dinner difficult.All in all, though, they are preserving an old building, creatively repurposing the space, and providing diversity of cuisine downtown close to the civic center. So cool to see a place like this in Evansville!
