“Stopped in tonight to order takeout for dinner. The atmosphere and decor inside were so beautiful and inviting! Would be a lovely place for a date night or even dinner with the family. Authentic Thai food, everything we had was delicious! The owner/chef Suzy has such a wonderful and friendly personality, made sure we had a great time while we waited on our takeout. So glad we have a great thai place so close to home, we will definitely be back and recommending to others!“
“When we moved to Indiana we searched for a great Thai resturant and this place never disappoints. We love the food delivery but our favorite is to go in for lunch. Lunch is very fast and includes soup, salad, and egg roll. We always take home enough of the entre for the next day. If you haven't tried this place you must as it is consistently great.“

“This place is top notch food with top notch service. Our waiter was beyond accommodating and so helpful when choosing what sushi rolls we wanted. He even was able to modify something for us based on our taste. I had a crispy tempura roll and a California roll, both classics, but great! My friend had a smoked salmon roll and decided that might be their new go to roll! The spring rolls were small, but perfect size to share between two people. The sweet sauce to dip was a great addition. The place is big, but has low ceilings so it feels cozy and small, but in a good way. There is a pedestrian entrance off 116th, but if you park (they have a lot) then you'll actually end up going in the back of the restaurant. We will be returning!“

“We had been searching for a good Thai place in Indy and then we heard about this restaurant! Came highly recommended and the reviews everywhere were stellar. Now I'm here to add another great review I guess! I ordered take out, and it was ready in 15 minutes. Food was packed well, was still warm and secure when I got home to eat. I loved the drunken noodles/pad kee mow!! Medium spice was perfect for a little spice flavor without being too much. It's my go to dish and did not disappoint. My husband is a wimp on spice and mild was perfect for him. Spring rolls and crab rangoons were soooo good! The crab Rangoons come in a big order and I know the leftovers will be great in the air fryer! The inside is small, but does have limited seating. The people working were so nice and helpful when I asked a couple questions. We have finally found our new go to Thai restaurant!“
“I have to admit, Htaw Metta was not our first choice on a Sunday evening, but our favorite Thai place was closed and the reviews were great so we gave it a try and so glad we did, a new go-to spot! We ordered takeout and it was ready in less than 15 minutes. Staff was very polite and friendly, even at the end of the day. Interior is pretty basic, don’t expect anything fancy. We ordered the banana fritters and chicken spring rolls for appetizers and both were good. The entrees is where things went to 5-stars! The Pad kra Prao with chicken was outstanding, perfect mix of vegetables and protein, super-flavorful, and spot on for spice level! Same for the yellow curry with chicken. Portions seemed fairly generous, we both had seconds with enough left over for one more meal from each. As with other Thai restaurants, prices seem a bit steeped compared to typical Chinese, but on par with other Thai restaurants and love that they have some Burmese options too. One word of caution, if you’re like us, it’s so darn good that you just may eat more than you planned!!“
“We ordered takeout and were extremely happy with this hole-in-the-wall! First, we got and incredible 11 spring rolls in our order. Second, the sweet and sour tofu was the best tofu I’ve ever eaten. Plenty of rice comes with the dishes, the portions are huge, and prices are reasonable. Highly recommended!“
“This is one of my favorite Thai places. The food is very authentic, it’s really nice quality, the taste is always incredible, and the staff is very nice. I’ve had a few mixups here and there with the cook adding too much spice, but I’ve never had a bad experience. Even when the meal has been too spicy for my liking it’s always still tasted amazing. 10/10 recommend.“

They were cleaning when I came in and stopped to acknowledge me which i really appreciated it. They even told me to sit down and they walked the order over to me. “Decent Thai food if you're in the area. It's fairly small inside so accommodating larger groups might be difficult or impossible. They do offer "Extra Thai Hot" which is actually spicy enough for me as it seems so many other places play it pretty safe.Parking: Can't enter from the rear so if you park in back, where most of the available parking is, you have to walk all the way around to the front to get inside.“

The Thai restaurant we were going to go to initially was closed, so we found ourselves here, and it was wonderful!The spring rolls came out fresh, crispy, and with a delicious dipping sauce.I got the Mango Curry, and my husband got the Chicken Chili Paradise. Both were fabulous. Definitely among some of the best Curry I have had since moving to Indiana in 2022, and the Chili Paradise was so fresh, light and had very crisp veggies as well.10/10 would recommend, and will definitely return (plus there is a Crumbl Cookie next door!).“

The woman who answers the phone and is usually present when I pick up my order is very friendly. Orders have always been correct and fast. I have tried all my favorites: shrimp with lobster sauce; chicken chow mein; steamed dumplings; pork egg roll; roast pork lo mein; chicken w/ broccoli; egg drop wonton soup; pork fried rice. Everything has great flavor without being overly salty, and tastes fresh. I love how some of the vegetables are soft in the chicken chow mein, yet other veggies are still crunchy. The egg drop wonton soup is truly the best I've ever had. In fact, I'm eating it right now. My only wish is they add spare ribs to the menu. *fingers crossed*“

Fresh, hot, spicy (just right for everyone), and delicious!
