Don Hall’s in Fort Wayne has consistently taken my gluten-free needs seriously, and tonight was exceptional. My server, Ashley B, went above and beyond. She double-checked everything, communicated clearly with the kitchen, and treated my health with genuine care. What might seem like a small gesture to some means everything to people like me. During our stay, a gentlemen came in noticeably rushed to pick up his to go order, his wife has been in the ICU & his had a rough week. We witnessed the owner refusing to take his money knowing his a regular supporter of the restaurant & his story, they hugged it out! The feels!!! “We ate there this evening and the service/server was great We ordered the steak dinner and the sausage roll. The steak was spot on. However, the sausage roll was horrendous. The sauce tasted like it came out of a ravioli can. I can’t imagine serving that sauce. Another customer overheard our conversation and they both stated that they stopped eating the pizza because of the poor quality of the sauce. Highly disappointed“

“We enjoyed dinner at Cork & Cleaver for our anniversary. The salad bar is outstanding, with top quality ingredients—and even chilled salad plates! For appetizers, we ordered the cream of broccoli soup and the crab cakes. The soup was nothing special, but the crab cakes were excellent—definitely on our list to repeat! For entrees, my husband ordered the fish special on polenta and I ordered the 21 shrimp platter with 3 flavors of shrimp and the stuffed mushrooms. Dessert was chocolate cake. During previous visits, we have also enjoyed the generous serving of the chocolate mud pie! The service was excellent. Be sure to get reservations if you want to get a table, especially on a weekend!“

“Sat at the bar and ordered the Italian grinder and some draft beer. The bar staff was phenomenal! They were very friendly and accommodating, when I needed a drink they made sure I had one. The Italian grinder I had was great also, the Italian sauce is always my favorite.“

“This has become our favorite pizza place! We like to sit in the cozy bar area cuddled up in a booth. The cocktail list is impressive, they are known for their Long Island Iced Tea, though I settled for a glad of Cabarnet Sovignon., which was delicious. My husband had an IPA which was also tasty.
We ordered the house salad, medium size to share. The portion was way more than the two of us could eat. Fresh shredded cheese and the house salad dressing made this dish hard to push away!
We had to save room for the deep dish Godfather pizza. We ordered a medium and found again, the size was way more than we needed for just the two of us.
Karmen was our server, she was attentive and patient with us as we looked over the menu. The place was so packed by the time we left and with good reason!

“Ok Went there for about the 15th time. Just as amazing as ever. Didn't get our usual server but had an adorable Hispanic gal who was having her first week. She was terrific! Ordered the moussaka and soup w Greek salad. Was soooo delicious. Way too much food for just one meal. Partner got the Half a baked chicken. Said it was the best he'd ever had. Moist and flavorful. So much dinner he brought some home for lunch tomorrow. Now dessert!!! Ordered bread pudding w caramel sauce and apple dumpling. Must have been a run on both cause at 6:30, both were all gone. Either the manager or owner (Latino guy) came out to our table to deliver the bad news. Super nice and helpful. We ended up with coconut creme pie and raspberry cheesecake. OMG both so delicious and huge portions. Totally forgot about what we had wanted originally. Brought half the pie home. Too big!! I visited with my wife last night for the Mardi Gras themed menu and the service was more than adequate, as always. We even got to chat with Tony for a minute. If you like a cozy, casual, and friendly atmosphere mixed with seafood, spirits, and a little bit of Ft. Wayne history, give The Oyster Bar a try.“
