May 12, 2020 Waynewood Inn Thought I could eat in, but to soon. So I took their delicious meatball meal home, and ate it there. I’d been waiting for those meatballs for months. So happy I left my number with them, before the pandemic emergency. Yesterday Alice made my day! Looking forward to additional homemade dinners, wth friends, after the restrictions are lifted.
The food is served fresh and hot. The whole staff is friendly and attentive. Waynewood is the place for the best bar food in Fort Wayne. Use to eat there quite a bit when I was in college in the mid to late '70's. The food is as good as I remember it. I think they have the best onion rings in town.

Tenderloin basket was just the right size and the sandwich was meaty and tender.Chicken strips were the real deal, not pre-made and shaped like a machine mold.Plenty of drink options from the bar and the interior is nice. Prices are very pocket friendly. Well worth the visit and we will be back.
