“Had some of the best ice cream at French Licks! The Pecan Pie Ice Cream was some of the tastiest I’ve ever had! The base for it was so creamy and the pecan pie filling was just that! Delicious Pecan Pie complete with crust! Sooooo Good!”

“Best breakfast in the area! Most breakfasts like this you would expect to pay about 30 bucks ahead. Kids are free - adults $21 THE FOOD!!! The omelet bar is the best! The waffle bar is amazing!! Everything is fresh!! We always hit the Colonnade at least once when visiting, it is a must!!!”

“We came in December as a party of 7 and had a wonderful experience. We enjoyed the outdoor patio/fire pit; even though it was freezing outside, it felt good around the fire. The food and service were great! This past weekend my extended family was planning a trip to Big Splash, so I messaged the FB page a few days in advance asking if we could get a reservation for 24 people on a Saturday night and they made it happen! The service once again was phenomenal & we were lucky enough to get the same server again (Pam I think?)! The cocktails, fried mushrooms, salad, German potatoes, and “The Bird” were delicious! This is going to be a must stop any time we’re back in French Lick! Highly recommend!!”

“We were siting then the waitress was really nice. sadly, it was nosey with a lot of kids. I had a mac cheese and grilled cheese, and my other party had a Roben. then we had a smash burger. and a side salad which everything was hot. the one thing I wish they had for my person that likes diet was diet mountain dew or a diet dr pepper. which strangely I through that was part of the coke product. then we had for drinks was 2 waters and Arnould palmer”

I deducted 1 star because
1. Food options are non-existent here. I’m not sure if this is a recent change? Some reviews show house made charcuterie boards, burgers and pasta. Certainly was no longer an option on our visit. The only food options are prepackaged deli items in a cooler or fudge. We would have stayed longer if there were dining options.
2. Seating at the bar is standing only.
3. Front porch allows smokers.
4. Location is not great- it’s somewhat connected to a strip mall/type. No greenery. You stare out at a giant potholed parking lot.”

“Bakers Corner catered pizza for our late night snack for our wedding August 26 2023. Everyone complimented the pizza and asked where it was from! The staff were great to build the order with and stayed open late for our request. We live right outside of town so it was great to support a local business and have them so accommodating for our wedding. Thanks so much! It made our farm wedding complete! K&D”

“Tonight we ordered pizza bowls from Papa John’s for delivery. A bit later, Brook looks out the kitchen window and here comes our delivery boy WALKING in the yard, not a car in sight! Brook goes out to meet him and come to find out, he drives a low sitting car and didn’t think it would make it up our driveway without dragging. Now, instead of calling us (assuming our # was printed on the ticket) OR driving back to the store and calling to let us know he didn’t think he could make it, he parked his car at the bottom of our driveway and WALKED….or I should say HIKED….up our driveway to deliver our pizzas! That right there is job dedication!! We didn’t catch his name and I don’t think I am friends with any of the workers/owners but he needs to know he’s doing a GREAT job!”
