“We were a group of 9; 6 adults & 3 children looking for a more sit-down place to eat when the owner talked us into staying telling us we would not be disappointed, and we were not. Their menu had a huge variety of food to choose from, and all of us thought the food was great! I had French toast, hash browns & sausage. My husband had an awesome shrimp omlette that had more shrimp on it than anywhere else we have ever eaten that put shrimp in its breakfast. And even thought it was all packagesd as take out, there were three tables available to sit and eat. It worked for us! Great job S&G! It's a well-earned 5 star review!“
“The staff is nice and friendly. The food is VERY good!!! I was a student at IUN many years ago and the food in the cafe did not taste as good as it does now. Maybe they have a different management/owner. It is pricey but food costs have gone up and they are paying to rent the facility and pay their employees so it is to be expected. It is a very convenient asset on the campus. I will definitely frequent this establishment.
Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options for specific menu items.
Dietary restrictions: The food is made to order so if you do not want something on your food, they can eliminate it.“

“Grindhouse is my favorite place to go have a beef bomb sándwich and a decaf caramel latte. My husband always gets a black coffee and the house salad with goat cheese, chicken, and a honey-mustard, homemade dressing. They have bags of coffee, honey, hot sauces, and shorts for sale too. Also, this coffee house always mixes up the menu if you're one who likes variety. They have cool music playing in the background and the atmosphere is perfect for an enjoyable conversation. I will always go here because I love everything about this place.
Parking: Lots of spots to Park.
Kid-friendliness: I bring my grandsons ages 5 to 16 here all the time. It's right next to Griffith Park; so you can go play afterwards“

“Great food, nice little gathering place for friends and family. The staff are very kind and courteous. Everyone from customers to the cooks are great with my children. We always leave in a food coma with a smile.

“I came here after shopping at the Antique mall. The popcorn smells amazing everything I walk by. I got the chicken salad sandwich, which was pretty good. The bread was nicely toasted and they put a good amount of the chicken on the sandwich. The chicken salad mayo, tasted tangy, but sweet. It worked well for the sandwich. The cashier brought out the sandwich to my table, which was nice. I cannot wait to try their other sandwiches and have a beer there sometime.“

“An intimate setting for size. I will say their menu is extensive. You could bring a diverse group here and most would find something they wanted to eat. The pizza I had was ok, I have a feeling it would have been better on a larger sized crust. The fettuccine was good enough I suppose but the Alfredo sauce was sweet which wasn't quite my thing. If I could have done it over again I would have ordered something different. The staff was wonderful which I feel like was really the best part of the experience. If you are looking for a location to eat and don't want to get tied into a set menu this place could help you out in a pinch.

She had a little 5 year pendant on her name tag if that helps identify her! “Bought cupcakes for birthday party on short notice. They made 3 dozen for me in two days. Ordered red velvet, carrot cake, and yellow cake with salted carmel ocing. They eere awesome, the hit of the party! Recomend them highky for any of your needs. Thank you for delicious cupcakes, great service, and meeting my short schedule.“

“Everything is great at Marilyn's Bakery. I have been enjoying lunches there lately; homecooked beef Panini sandwiches, chicken salad on a croissant, plus homemade soups & deserts. A lot of food reasonably priced. Also, their homemade pies and pastries are exceptional. Support your local businesses in St. John.“

“This Panera never disappoints! It is very tidy and it is my family's favorite place to stop whenever we are in the area! The service incredible as well. The cashier Sydni was very sweet and helpful. She went out of her way to make my visit comfortable and convenient.“
