“The staff is nice and friendly. The food is VERY good!!! I was a student at IUN many years ago and the food in the cafe did not taste as good as it does now. Maybe they have a different management/owner. It is pricey but food costs have gone up and they are paying to rent the facility and pay their employees so it is to be expected. It is a very convenient asset on the campus. I will definitely frequent this establishment.
Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options for specific menu items.
Dietary restrictions: The food is made to order so if you do not want something on your food, they can eliminate it.“

“We were a group of 9; 6 adults & 3 children looking for a more sit-down place to eat when the owner talked us into staying telling us we would not be disappointed, and we were not. Their menu had a huge variety of food to choose from, and all of us thought the food was great! I had French toast, hash browns & sausage. My husband had an awesome shrimp omlette that had more shrimp on it than anywhere else we have ever eaten that put shrimp in its breakfast. And even thought it was all packagesd as take out, there were three tables available to sit and eat. It worked for us! Great job S&G! It's a well-earned 5 star review!“

“This is an unassuming little place, but the coffee and pastries are really tasty. And what makes the place is the staff, which is SOOOO nice! Its my favorite place for mid-bike-ride pause from Chicago.

“Bought cupcakes for birthday party on short notice. They made 3 dozen for me in two days. Ordered red velvet, carrot cake, and yellow cake with salted carmel ocing. “Everything is great at Marilyn's Bakery. I have been enjoying lunches there lately; homecooked beef Panini sandwiches, chicken salad on a croissant, plus homemade soups & deserts. A lot of food reasonably priced. Also, their homemade pies and pastries are exceptional. Support your local businesses in St. John.“

“This Panera never disappoints! It is very tidy and it is my family's favorite place to stop whenever we are in the area! The service incredible as well. The cashier Sydni was very sweet and helpful. She went out of her way to make my visit comfortable and convenient.“
