They even offered us a sample of their jerk chicken, and wow—instant flavor explosion. We knew we were in for a treat. We each ordered a dinner (which comes with rice and beans plus two sides). I went with the BBQ chicken tips paired with yams, baked mac n cheese, and the classic rice and beans. Every bite was soulful and satisfying—perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. He had the jerk chicken tips with the same sides, and let’s just say there wasn’t a single bite left. The heat, the flavor, the tenderness—it’s exactly what you want from a jerk dish. To wash it down, we sipped on Skipee’s Lemonade—I had the passion fruit strawberry, and he had the grape strawberry. Both were refreshing and packed with flavor. We dined in Claude & Ray’s BoomBoom Room, which added a fun, laid-back vibe to the whole experience. We just found our new go-to jerk spot—and we’re already planning our next visit!“
