I’ve gone here on several occasions and they have never disappointed. Since they cook to order this is not a place to expect the food done immediately. When I want their delicious dishes I call ahead at least 25- 30 mins which typically works out.
This Food is fire,Compliments to the Chef and price is Reasonable for Food Portions.
If you are in Gary... this is a must go to spot. This food comforts not only an empty belly, but a soul. It gives you a warm hug and helps you step out of the worries of the world. I had the fried lemon pepper chicken. It was perfection. No sauce needed. He had the smothered chicken. Sides were amazing to. Seasoning was perfection! Oh and dont get me started on the punch. Based on the reviews, Katrina’s Kitchen serves delicious and fresh food. The menu includes the Alfredo bowl jerk with salmon, shrimp and cornbread, smothered pork chops, jerk salmon, pot roast cheesesteak, fresh fries, jerk sliders with Cajun fries, the Mac Bowl with pot roast, red beans and rice, yams, and black eye peas. The food is described as amazing, perfectly seasoned, juicy, bold, and made with love. The pot roast is tender and flavorful, and the Cajun fries are crispy and seasoned just right. The service is excellent, with a manager coming out of the kitchen and staff delivering a wonderful experience with smiling faces. The customer service is excellent, and the interior is clean and neat. The food is worth the wait, and the portions are generous. The energy, service, and preparation are outstanding. This is the kind of food that feels like home but eats like a celebration.
