Wendy's in Greenwood

“I'm giving a 5-star review for improvement. We ate inside. The manager - Douglas - is trying hard to bring this up. He's apparently working on the Franklin Wendy's at the same time, so a tough task. They were short staffed, but the food was warm and done right. I don't particularly care for the kiosk-only option, and one of the kiosks was down, but it's at least a way to deal with the short staffing. Douglas came out after the rush was over and thanked everyone who had to wait a bit. One guy got his order misplaced, so Douglas made a new one and brought out cookies for his kids as compliments for the mistake. He owned the issue, and took quick action to resolve it.

It's not perfect, but getting a lot better than it had been over the past year or two. I can't deny myself a spicy chicken sandwich and their real lemonades, so I've been going anyway, but definitely happy that they're taking steps to improve.“

“So this only gets 4 stars due to my love/ loath relationship I have with this Wendy's, and basically ONE SINGLE employee or manager gets every star I have.
So I go to this Wendy's alot as I take my girlfriend to work and go do work around greenwood myself. I stop in to this Wendy's and it's usually a little slow but it seems understaffed so hey I get it, I worked for Wendy's on county line and Madison ave near the Lowe's Greenwood location for a few years, anyway so i can definitely deal with a wait because needless to say when done right Wendy's has by far the best burger in fast food, actually some of my favorite burgers that are out there at all. So I frequent this one and it's just so frustrating because I go randomly even at busy times and get a great meal engrade service,but every other time I go I receive very poor service and my meal is always wrong, this is where that single employee or manager comes in I don't know his name but he's a young black male, very professional very courteous, if I get his name I will edit this review to reflect the employee. And for example went in May 1st
, went through the drive-thru which took about 5 to 6 minutes so longer than usual but like I said I don't mind waiting on a good fresh product, I asked the cashier for a double with tomato and pickle and Mayo only, a little side cup of mayo for my fries.... The cashier acted like I was speaking a foreign language, so when I received my bag I was on my way to pick my girlfriend up and planned on splitting the large fry in a double cheeseburger as that's a big burger. To my disappointment I open the bag to a single hamburger dry as hell, no side of mayo no ketchup, the fries were at least fresh, I will say that. But it's like they totally disregarded what I said did not give me a receipt. So anyways it was a bad visit and I didn't have time to go back that day, I went in on May 2nd and that young man that helped me correct the goof up before, absolutely knocked it out of the park, gave me a fresh double seasoed perfectly... It's just frustrating that I get great service one time or that the great service I get is just a correction of another time. It's obvious there are two different crews at the store and one just doesn't do very good and the other is spectacular. I'd still recommend taking the chance, and the only reason I still take the chance is because I know if they do mess up there's someone there who cares that will make it right!
