“Went in not too long ago on a Saturday for lunch, from the time we walked in, The owners greeted us with a smile and were very personable, which is a lost art these days, so we were very comfortable from the get go, at that time we had multiple questions about the menu and AGAIN the owners explained every question we had in detail with no fluff, I ordered Italian Wedding Soup which is the BEST I’ve ever eaten, and finished with The Mostro… Great big portions and the food itself was amazing, we finished with desert and when we got the bill… again we was pleasantly surprised… I recommend to the highest powers that be that Ammirato’s Meatball Cafe is a hidden Gem and will definitely return for a different item on the menu”

“Best Pizza in this area or maybe the best of all. I was in town helping my Uncle and he recommended we try it and I fell in love with their pizza!! In 2 and a half weeks I think I ate here 5-6 times!! Thank you for the great pizza!!”

“I had been traveling the European continent and longed for a taste of Bavaria and stopped into New Oberpfalz. The dining area and bar are relatively small but cozy. The service is absolutely magnificent- my server stopped by multiple times to make sure everything was to my luck...and indeed it was! “First time ordering here. The cheese pizza was ok, ordered thin crust and would say cheese slightly over done. Ordered sausage thjn crust and the crust was too thick more like traditional NY style crust. Dough was very dense. But the cheese pizza crust was pretty thin. The sauce and chuck sausage and cheese had good taste. Breadsticks were good and cooked perfectly and were tasty. We ordered a house salad with ranch. The ranch was good and thin,tasty. They did however add onions and we told them no onions. Solid choice for chicago pizza, but there are so many options in NW IN. for pizza.”

“I called to ask about having a birthday party on short notice for my son’s 30th and during the holiday weekend and received a call from the owner letting me know it wouldn’t be a problem at all! I could bring my own food and decorate and he would have a DJ for the night. All the staff were very helpful and accommodating for anything we needed! Service was exceptional at the bar! My family and friends complimented the establishment as soon as they walked in the doors. We look forward to future gatherings or parties here for sure! It was a wonderful evening had by all!”
