“We have Been at Theo’s at least 20 times in the last 3 years. The first time was the best and last night was the last. Food was a lot better 3 years ago. The staff seemed like they cared about you buying the right or the best value, Last night we were ripped off. David was our server. Telling how great the specials were with out telling us the price. My wife wanted seafood not steak. So we ordered her the seafood crab legs, lobster tail and shrimp. Crab legs tasted like they were frozen for a long time, the lobster was Tuff. Shrimp was good in garlic butter. I had a steak. With mushrooms. Do your self a favor ask what the price for any specials . DON’T BUY ANYTHING WITHOUT KNOWING THE PRICE. SeaFood Special $175.66 Who the hell charges this for a pound of crab legs and a lobster tail? Never again! Buyer beware!“

She is very familiar with event hosting and has a solid understanding of the wedding industry. It was a pleasure to work with Dani for her reliable communication, attention to detail, and professional coordination of vendors and reception timeline. Dani respected our floor plan design so the seating arrangement was exactly what we envisioned for our wedding. There was ample seating and space for our DJ, photo booth, dessert table and a gifts table. Our guests especially loved the food and the open bar. Overall, we were pleased with the entire server staff of The Emerald Green. If you are interested in a beautiful venue to host your next event, we recommend this!“

“I come here every week or so with my 3yo nephew and it’s our favorite spot. We’ll get some pizza, maybe something from the salad bar or mac and cheese or soup from inside the Whole Foods, and grab some food and I’ll get a drink from the bar. They have a bunch of card and board games to play while you’re there. I also love the outdoor seating in the summer; they have a tv outside too to catch the game, as well as two tvs inside. Matt is amazing and knowledgeable about the drinks and food, and is very kind to us. We truly look forward to seeing him on our visits. Highly recommend to anyone who wants some good food, drinks, and vibes! :)“

“Great pizza, but dropped the ball with service on recent visit. This is one of our favorite places for pizza in the area, and we go there regularly. The food is always good, but today, we sat there for over 20 minutes without a single person stopping by to offer us water, offer to take our drink order or even just acknowledge our being there. It wasn’t even especially busy - most tables were empty. We gave up and went somewhere else.“

“Nice lil pub and has good drinks. They also have pool which was really fun and they allowed us to play for free. My only disappointment was the rush to order drinks, my friends and I like to take things slow and were hoping to at least start our game before visiting the bar but the lady came up to us asking if we were going to order something which kind of felt weird.. I would’ve spent a longer time and ordered more than one drink if she didn’t approach us like that. The atmosphere aside from that was really nice, very calm and cozy & like I said drinks were priced fair & were good. So overall a solid place!“

“Sometimes the owner of uncle Bobby's bar will Grill some food. The atmosphere is very nice everybody knows each other a lot of active and retired fireman and policeman attend. “I was looking for a close spot to have a cold beer and grab a bite to eat in-between my daughters volleyball games and stumbled upon the gem called R Place. This spot is great! I was told that they have been in business 42 years! WOW, and I can see why. They are very friendly and treat you well. The food is fantastic and the locals are very laid back and make you feel welcome as well. If I was local to the area, this bar would be my base! A throwback feel to the better times, in my opinion. 5 ✨'s! I hope to get a chance to visit again.“

“A very clean bar. I didn't eat anything there or even know if they have a kitchen. The bartender was very nice and outgoing. The crowd was like an after work crowd. We were meeting friends there to go to a ball game. Had a great time, the time we were there. I would go again.“

“The joy I feel when I go to Home Plate Pub is indescribable! The bartenders are the friendliest and most efficient in all The Ville! The quality of the coke has gone down a bit, but the patrons that frequent Home Plate are some of the finest people that you’ll ever meet. The only other bar in Hessville that was FAR SUPERIOR the Home Plate was Brothers II, and sadly that fine establishment is no longer in business! RIP RON & SUE“
