Great portions, but rude service just about everytime I bother to stop in. Everyone seems so bothered to assist, and the lobby is filthy.
After the recent severe storms swept through Northwest Indiana, our community has been left dealing with widespread damage, extended power outages, and limited access to basic necessities like hot meals. With so many places still closed, finding somewhere open to eat felt urgent. After days without electricity, seeing Panda Express reopen was a small but meaningful relief in the middle of the chaos.

Panda Express is a popular restaurant known for its flavorful food, with many customers appreciating the friendly staff and quick service. The environment is lively, with staff positively interacting and laughing with each other, creating a great atmosphere. The restaurant offers vegetarian options, including Super Greens, and some customers find the food reasonably priced, such as a $10 lunch with fried rice, orange chicken, and Super Greens. While some reviews mention issues like mushy rice and soggy orange chicken, others have praised the portions of noodles and cabbage in the chow mein, noting that they are often too much cabbage. Recently, a customer complimented the cook for providing the perfect amount of noodles and well-sauced orange chicken and honey sesame chicken, wishing this consistency was always maintained. Despite occasional inconsistencies, the restaurant still attracts loyal customers who value its convenient location and reputation.
