The venue is nice, and the food is great, showcasing the talents of culinary and hospitality students who practice their skills here. The menu features dishes such as shrimp and grits, which are amazing, flavorful, and light, and the Churrasco beef served with black beans and charred veggies, which harmonizes well when all components are combined. Though the Trumpet Mushroom Scallops may not be entirely as expected, they are still delicious.
Guests can enjoy a three-course meal for $20, with options to add beer, wine, or a cocktail for a little extra. The student waitstaff is enthusiastic and willing to cater to every need, though service can sometimes be a bit slow due to training. The French cuisine is beautifully prepared, with dishes like Coq au Vin, salmon Rillette, and poached fish with Beurre Blanc. The ambiance is elegantly quiet, making it a lovely place to dine. While the dessert options may be limited, the opera cake is a highlight, and culinary students do a great job with it.
