The town I grew up in actually had a Hook's Pharmacy that we used to go to all the time. It's really neat to see that the Hook's Historic Drug Store is open during the fair. It's air conditioned which is a major plus and it feels so good! It opened in 1966 and as of August 2021 they've had 3 million visitors come through the doors! This was a neat little place. It reminded me of old timey Cowboy Saloon from back in the day, but it was also like a candy shop. I went there and ordered an iced coffee ice cream float and it was delicious!

I have been to the fairgrounds so many times I can't keep track and I'd never heard of this place until this year at the fair. Walking in you are transported back in time where things were simpler and definitely a lot different.
