Chocolate sodas. A trip back in time or a new experience. Delicious.
Every year when I go to the State Fair, I make sure to stop by. Hooks was my local drug store before People's bought them (then Rite-Aid... then CVS...)
The people are nice and the ice cream sold there is actually quite good. It's cool to see all of the vintage products and cabinets and stuff. And all the La Creole hair products! Great trip through time.
More importantly, it's nice and cool inside on those hot State Fair days! lol

As a long-time pharmacy tech, I was excited to go in and check this place out while at the state fair. I’d love to check it out more sometime when it’s not as busy. ?
