This is my first visit to Joella's. I live like 5 blocks but never came in the 2 yrs I've lived in Indy. I had the quarter half, tweener level heat, mash tators and colored greens. The chicken was cooked to perfection, perfect crunch, perfect spice/heat. Might try hotter next time. The mashed tators and the "kickin" gravy were delicious. Now, the colored greens. Folks, there is a science to cooking great colored greens. Cook'em slow and low, good seasoning, get that tenderness....read full review
First time dining at this establishment and I can say it won't be my last!! This chicken was ?.You can pick your own heat and dipping sauce. I tried and liked the tweener level heat and the yummy Jojo sauce with a kale salad side. Don't sleep on the kale salad it was the best salad I've had in awhile! I definitely recommend this place!
