Murphy's Steakhouse offers great value for its price, featuring a variety of options on the menu. The staff is attentive and accommodating, promptly addressing special requests like excluding butter from steak orders. The restaurant maintains a kid-friendly atmosphere with a selection of meals that pleased younger diners. The service, drinks, and food all received praise, making it a comfortable spot for families. Although no dish stands out as the absolute best, everything is described as solid and better than expected.
The ambiance has a nostalgic feel, enhanced by table lamps and a cozy atmosphere. Some diners enjoy the unique Super Club vibe, and a small band playing classic covers adds to the experience. The appetizer selection includes popular items like the breaded mushroom medley, which has been highlighted as a standout dish. Although the steak has received mixed reviews, with some cuts described as mediocre and seafood often battered, the overall experience is generally positive.
Service is decent, with food coming out quickly, although there have been mentions of waters not being refilled. The pricing is considered affordable, making it an accessible choice for a casual night out. Vegetarian options like Impossible meat and fried mushrooms are available, catering to diverse dietary preferences. Parking might be challenging at busy times, but the casual nature of the restaurant makes it a popular local spot.
