“First time at Modita last night. We absolutely loved everything. We ordered dim sum and a couple of entrees, honestly, next time we might just order dim sum. All of our entrees we very tasty, and the dim sum is perfect for sharing. Highlights, Edamame (love the chili flake twist), Bao Bun (WOW), Chicken Potsticker, Pork Soup Dumplings. Great service, we'll be back.“

“My favourite Burmese restaurant in Indianapolis by far. The menu features an extensive variety of Burmese food. My friend ordered Shan Noodles and I ordered stir-fry bokchoy . We shared a plate of Crab Rangoon and the meal came with winter melon soup and spicy tea leaf salad. We had hot Milo to drink. Each dish was unique and delicious.Word to the wise: we love spicy food but if you don't, the tea leaf salad might be a bit too powerful for some!Word to the wise 2: Portions are big here so beware of ordering too much. The restaurant is clean but decorations are minimal. The waitress was extremely kind and thoughtful in walking us through less familiar parts of the menu.If you love Burmese food or have never tried it, this is one restaurant that you should not miss!Vegetarian options: Most dishes could be had with a choice of meats or as a vegetarian option“

“Happened on this restaurant while passing through Southport looking for a local place to have lunch. This was a wonderful experience. Our server was very friendly. I would have given five stars but my wife was served about ten minutes before me. She had ordered Burmese Goat, which was served with rice, soup, a salad and more rice. The goat had a wonderful spice profile. Her meal filled most of the four top table. My meal came as she was about half done but it was delicious. I think that the delay may have been in the noodle preparation. It seemed very fresh. The dish had just a bit of heat that was increased with the addition of the soy sauce marinaded with some small peppers. All told a delightful meal. We will definitely remember this place the next time we are traveling through Brown County Indiana.“
