Rangon Restaurant | Burmese Reviews
Clean and Delicious food plus Good customer service ❤️
Nice little place and learned about the Burmese migration to Indianapolis in the process. Killer little fried rangoons and got the curry and a side of rice. Delicious food and very friendly service.
I was recommended by my Burmese friend to try Rangon Restaurant in Indianapolis and the food did not disappoint! I ordered the monhinkhaa, samusa and nan gyi thoke. For the drink I had a ovaltine iced. Everything was super flavorful. The samusa was hot on the inside and crunchy outside. My favorite was the nan gyi thoke with lime juice. The monhinkhaa was a bit too thick for my liking but still very flavorful. The service is not the best but they’re good people.

Rangon Restaurant | Burmese is a nice, quaint and clean restaurant on the south side of Indianapolis. The food is always delicious and the service is awesome, with a great family atmosphere. The owner is very nice and will treat you like family. Everything is super flavorful, including the samusa which is hot on the inside and crunchy outside. The nan gyi thoke with lime juice is a favorite, while the monhinkhaa is a bit too thick but still very flavorful. The spicy cabbage salad is soooo good and refreshing. Other dishes like Samusas, Crab Rangoon, Shan Pork Noodle, Pork Curry, and Kyle OO come hot and fast with good flavor and some spice. The price is reasonable. The service can vary, but they are good people.
