My friend and I went here for dinner before a concert, and immediately knew we made the right choice. The hostess, amazing. Our bartender, above and beyond! And the ribeyes we got were so tender and juice. This place is at like a must go.

Root & Bone provides a memorable dining experience with a focus on flavorful and carefully crafted dishes. The menu features standout items like tea-brined chicken, ribs, and fried chicken, along with popular appetizers such as biscuit/chicken and pork belly. Customers often praise the dishes for their bold flavors and appealing presentation. The restaurant also offers a variety of drinks that guests highly appreciate. Service is generally friendly and attentive, with some staff members being particularly warm and knowledgeable. The atmosphere can be lively and slightly loud, and the close seating arrangements may make the space feel a bit crowded at times. Visitors have enjoyed the beet 'tartar', barbecued beef 'meatloaf', and other entrees like the schnitzel and short rib meatloaf, which have been noted for their rich flavor and perfect cooking. Desserts like the banana crème brûlée and peach pie have received mixed reviews. Many guests now consider Root & Bone their favorite spot for Sunday Brunch, especially praising the fried chicken sandwich, quick service, and welcoming environment. The cornbread and deviled eggs have also received positive mentions. Diners have discovered delicious options like the Cedar Plank Salmon and Grandma Daisy's Angel Biscuits, which are flaky and buttery. The restaurant is noted for its cozy feel, though parking can be a challenge. Overall, Root & Bone remains a popular choice for those seeking flavorful food and a vibrant atmosphere in Indianapolis, and diners eagerly recommend it to others.
