While the staff is usually friendly and welcoming, my biggest 3 gripes about coming here is there is never any place to sit down, the flies in the lobby and there is always somebody soliciting outside
This Starbucks was near downtown Indianapolis and the coffee I had was simple and pretty satisfying. The atmosphere was okay though, but street parking was available so can’t complain.
Excellent employees, helpful in explaining what drinks are!!

Starbucks Coffee Company is tucked away in a busy pedestrian area near downtown Indy, described as a hidden gem. The location is convenient but has a significant issue with paid city parking, which can result in tickets. Service is often fast, featuring a walk-up window, and the staff is frequently noted as friendly, kind, and respectful, sometimes going above and beyond to help. They have been known to make off-menu drinks during emergencies and add personal touches like writing "you rock!" with a smiley face on cups.
Reviews on the drinks and food are mixed. The food is reported as hot, delicious, and coming out super fast, and barista drink recommendations are often spot on and great. However, some drinks, like a strawberry açaí with light lemonade, can be poorly made, tasting like watered down lemonade and not meeting regular standards. Coffee is sometimes decent but a little watered down even when grabbed immediately. The setup for order pickup, especially during Pride, is considered cute. While many customers recommend the location and would drive past others to visit, some are upset by the drink inconsistency or the parking situation and state they will not be back.
