“it's pretty much the best community driven thing since ever. the super dope friendly regulars come, well, regularly, and the trolls who try to ruin it for everyone realize no one wants them here so they don't come back. it's this vicious cycle of good vibes feeding into themselves that has created this incredible community. the alcovians are we like to call ourselves. if you're like me and not usually social, check out the karaoke bar next door first and loosen up there and then migrate on over to alcove when you feel more comfortable! don't even get me started on the food. papu chos is THE BEST food I've had in my life. TLDR just go to alcove already“

“Traveled from Wisconsin to see fight from within here. It was a fun local venue and everyone was very nice. Not a lot of space to get too crazy during the show, but just enough. We had a great time! 5/5 - 10/10 would definitely go back!“

“I was looking for a place for dinner. Almost missed this one because they don't have an online menu. I was tired so I decided to try it anyway. I was pleasantly surprised. Cade took good care of me. Great service and the food was plentiful and tasty. Prices are reasonable. I will be back.“

“Lunch with daughter and son in law after going to the Creepfest at Caufield’s. Very good service and reasonable prices. This was my first visit, however, my daughter and her husband do come to eat here a number of times. My fish sandwich with onion rings was filling and tasty. Due to a music event that night we had to park a block and a half away. Other than that everything was fine.“

“Everything was perfect! Every time I come! KP and KENZIE are absolutely amazing servers. Best of the best! The only blemish on this location is Tommy. The bartender/server. Horrible attitude!!! And it seems like each time I’ve interacted with him, he seems to have been drinking. Very unprofessional. Other than him, I love this place.“
