“This is our go to bar/lounge whenever we visit the area. They know their stuff, have a great selection, and have a great bar. I cannot recommend them enough, if you are in the area, visit them. You won't be disappointed.“

“Willett was our absolute favorite tour that we went on during our trip to Bardstown. Our guide was so personable and knowledgeable, and I especially loved that they space out the tastings rather than doing them all at once. This really helped prevent flavor fatigue and kept the tour engaging. Booking a reservation at the bar is an absolute must. The egg salad sandwich was phenomenal, and my husband said the pan con tomate was the best he's ever had. Highly recommend ordering and Artichoke Hold at the bar as well.“

“My husband and I visited Bardstown for the first time and stumbled upon Liam Ash, and we are so glad we did! It’s an absolute gem all the way around… Amazing cocktails, beautiful aesthetics, and an extremely knowledgeable, certified bourbon expert bartender named Nicki that not only knew the bourbons, but all the great history behind each one. “What a great hidden gem! The staff was so friendly and the drinks were some of the best ones in downtown Bardstown. Adam was so knowledgeable and kind. He, Kylie and Amanda made the best cocktails! “The Old Talbott Tavern is the world's oldest Bourbon Bar & apparently has recieved numerous accolades & awards over many years & with it being built in the late 1700's it has had many notable guests such as Daniel Boone, Abraham Lincoln, Jesse James & others so that in itself is worth a stop for any history buff.

Once we entered we absolutely loved the old time charm with the really thick stone walls & heavy timber ceilings yet cozy at the same time.

We ended up ordering the Shrimp & Grits as well as the Pulled Pork Platter. Everything was served in short order & was excellent.

The service was good & the prices were fair. My only complaint about the restaurant was that it was an overly loud atmosphere which made it a little difficult to hear the servers & your dinner mate but I guess they can't do much about that.

Overall it was a fantastic experience & we will most certainly return next time we find ourselves in beautiful Bardstown Kentucky.“

“Stopped in the other day before a tour at HH. Might have been the best breakfast I ever had. Chicken fried steak was incredible….and those biscuits were fresh and fluffy. If I lived close I might eat there every day. Very friendly and welcoming staff, great atmosphere and decor. I would say its a “must-stop” for anyone visiting the area!“
