“I always love the tour at Willett, I've been four times. The progressive tasting approach is so nice, and the distillery itself has been evolving over the years. It's still small enough to feel micro even though they've grown their operation by quite a bit in the last decade. The bar and restaurant, both fairly recent additions, are fantastic. There are bottles available to taste that you will not find anywhere else (but if you do find them let me know, I'm going to be chasing the funky amazingness of one of their exclusive bottles for the rest of my life).“

Our tour guide (Laz sp?) was a fun humorous great guy. Gift shop was a bit sparse however I managed to buy a few hundred dollars worth of goodies.“

“The Heritage Rising Tour was fantastic! Even as someone who isn’t the biggest bourbon fan, the tasting throughout the tour was enjoyable. We got to learn so much about their process and there were some great photo ops. Scott was the best tour guide - he was informative and entertaining, and so personable! At the end, we sat at the bar and had the tastiest old fashioned! 11/10 recommend this tour, for both bourbon-lovers and people who love bourbon-lovers!“

“First time in this town. I parked right in front of the enterance. Sat down at the counter. Ordered the special of the day, roast beef. Enjoyed the buttery green beans. Loved the antique chandler. The twins running the place were on top of everything. Great service. It was difficult to not get a slice of pie that was staring at me on the counter. They had several flavors and making the choice was the problem.“

“I tried this place before but my first time at this particular location. I did not like this place the last time I tried it which had been a couple of years ago. I thought i would give it a second chance . Glad I did the wings was great had the atomic with ghost pepper ranch. It was absolutely awesome. Had the sampler for app the onion rings was good pickles was ok and the mozzarella sticks was ok. The girl that served us was not the best In The world. She was friendly. But a little slow on the drinks and was kinda short on A couple of questions we asked. But she was very nice. The visit was good. I would definitely go back.“

“Stopped in the other day before a tour at HH. Might have been the best breakfast I ever had. Chicken fried steak was incredible….and those biscuits were fresh and fluffy. “It’s our first night in Bardstown and we had an excellent dinner experience at the Talbot Tavern restaurant. The food was tasty, delivered to our table timely and piping hot. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. The “cherry on top” was the service we received from Brooke. She was excellent!…friendly, professional, made outstanding recommendations, and provided us with appropriate attention to ensure we felt like welcomed guests. We will definitely be returning to the Talbot Tavern.“
