“Brought my son and his friend here to kill some time and let them have some fun. I had told the bartender (Katie) that I would let her know when we were done bc we were sitting outside but I didn’t want our stuff thrown away. We went to play and came back to our table being cleaned off. I let the server know we weren’t finished. She apologized and Katie remade our drinks and had a fresh batch of shrimp tacos made even though he only had one left. Not one employee we encountered had a bad attitude. They all seemed genuinely happy to be working even if they were stuck inside on this beautiful day. Thank you to this entire staff for giving me and the boys a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back!!!“

“I have had several of the Middle Eastern menu items multiple times. Without a doubt it’s one of the best places here in Louisville. If not the best. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are healthy. I need to try some of the Italian dishes. The owner used to work in a top rated Italian restaurant for 17 years.“

“Normally not a fan of the bar style environment, but this place had a nicer atmosphere. Trivia is always on one of the big screens. The food is amazing and the real reason to come. They also still have a partial kitchen after 10 which is convenient along with to go services. I recommend the chicken strips and wedges, amazing“

Large portions are in order and our favorites are the steak with bourbon glaze and salmon with a hot pepper sauce. Don’t forget to order their decadent desserts, even if you take it to go. “Wonderful Holiday dinner at Alchemy in Norton Commans last nite with superb service! 3 couples ordered a varied sampling of the menu from Picanha to Choripan to Empanadas to Cod, all exceptional. 100% satisfaction for everyone at the table. A huge shout-out to Nelson & Nahyla Michelangeli, they are doing some great and innovative dishes! Their culture begins with family and you immediately feel a part of something special. “Absolutely becoming my favorite location to enjoy a night out. I was a fan of the restaurant and then my wife and I had a chance to go to a cooking class with the Executive Chef. We made my favorite item on the menu. Honestly there isn't enough room on the form for me to describe my experiences at Bourbons Bistro. From the moment you walk in, you just know this is going to be a special place. The service is top tier. They make some of my favorite cocktails and their wine selection is great. I have had four different items on their menu and i can't wait for my next visit.“

“We took our out of town guests yesterday. Our server Jessica was amazing! She really made our night! (If you are reading this Jessica, y’all/yins did a great job! Lol.) Everyone loved their cocktails. The pork chop was very tasty and perfectly cooked, loved the shrimp and grits… so flavorful! The salmon was also delicious! We had the cheese and hummus plate as a starter and I was not a fan. The hummus was gummy and had an odd flavor. The rest of our group didn’t mind it. I could have had the bruschetta as my meal… yum! For dessert we had the bread pudding and asked to have some bourbon to pour on top (so good!), the lava cake (wow) and the brûlée (coffee flavored and very nice). We were the last to leave and Jessica and the rest of the staff treated us if we had all the time in the world. We so appreciated that! Our experience was so special! Thank you!“

They made my day 1000x extra special, took care of my food and drinks, and even gave me a platter of desserts to try! We are coming back to Louisville for my bachelorette and we will definitely be visiting this place again! The seafood burger was also delicious!“
