Hot Dogs in Kokomo

“Only a few food items can be good enough to put a place on the map. In Kokomo those items are the breaded tenderloin and the other is Louie’s baked hamburgers. I moved to Kentucky 32 years ago and I have a standing food order for my friends and family when they come visit. You best bring an ample supply of bakes when you come. Louie’s will pack 20 of the meaty bakes into a bowl and cover them with sauce sprinkled with onion then frozen till I thaw them. The buns are still in a bag by themselves. Then of course when I do drive back I stop by for fresh bakes and fries. Look, I can produce my own breaded tenderloin that rivals the best, but as far as bakes are concerned, I’ll leave them to those that have the secret recipe. Thank you Louie’s for one of the best and unique foods on the planet.“
