“Came for the first time on Sat. Drove 45 min to try this place out and we were not disappointed. It was VERY busy but all the workers worked quick and efficiently. We ordered a deep dish with low expectations (as the further from Chicago we get the pizza usually isn’t as good in our opinion) but we were very pleasantly surprised with everything about our pizza. The dough was delicious and cooked perfectly, fresh mushrooms, huge chunks of sausage and a perfectly balanced sweet sauce. The garlic rolls were a nice touch and SO good! We will most definitely be back!”

“It was our first time visiting the Viking Chili Bowl in Valpo. We called ahead for a table since we were a party of 6. Glad we did. Even though the place was packed, we had excellent, friendly service. I was impressed that our food arrived as soon as it did. The food was good. My husband absolutely loved the ham. Portions are big. My granddaughter barely got through a half on one of her pancakes. I had the fish sandwich with Onion rings. Sandwich was standard. I really enjoyed the rings. My husband and I ordered the chili to go for dinner. I have to say, I was disappointed. The only negative. The chili looked very processed. Like it came straight from a can. It was an unappealing brown color and it didn't taste good. Guess I had a sort of expectation from the restaurant's name. Again, everything else was pleasant and enjoyable outside of the Chili. We look forward to returning some time.”

“I typically stop in once a week and get a treat and latte. The baked goods are absolutely delicious and the latte is just what I need in the morning to kickstart my day. The workers are very friendly and puts a smile on my face each time I come in. Next time I need a special occasion cake, I will be ordering from Cake and Cups!”

Amanda and Moe (or AMMO for short 😁)were my servers that night and they couldn't have been kinder or more attentive. I had seen Joe, the karaoke host, at another establishment before and knew what to expect. He does an excellent job of hosting and uses better equipment than many of the bars around here, which enhances the performing and listening experience. The only "bad" thing I can say about Tommy B's is I wish they offered food after 10PM, even if it was just appetizers. Thank you, AMMO and Joe for a great night! Look forward to coming back soon!”
